Zootierliste includes sharks in German and EAZA Zoos. But you have to go by species and subspecies
List of Sharks that are kept in EAZA Zoos (Source: Zootierliste.de) (this List does only show Sharks that are currently kept in EAZA Zoos and Aquaria)I could not find a clear list of shark species that were really kept in captivity. I wonder which species are kept in captivity and which are not.
absolutely.Yeah, I ignore that fact nowadays. To me, if people have a request for an animal/theme - they also mean the supporting game mechanics to be implemented.
If people expect this to be the next DLC, that argument should be mentioned again.
So if we assume that they will make these two themes as expansion pack, I think the birds will have a system like JWE. I am very sure of that. I hope they don't plan to release these expansion packs/DLCs after 3-4 years. So if they are planning to do these expansion packs, I would really want to get them in 2 years at most. We'll wait and seeI like to think they would apply JWE logic at some point. They had a big expansion/DLC with the Back To Jurassic Park DLC. (i consider that one a big one - compared to the other DLC). So hopefully somewhere between 1-2 years after launch date a big DLC
But we just have to wait and see

I don't think they will focus on marine animals in the long run. I don't think they will put their land animals aside and release marine DLCs one after another. It wouldn't have been nice if they broadcast them at long intervals. so i see it as expansion pack /big DLC. The thing is that if Frontier wants to add a mechanic to the game, it adds it with a free update. So if a Marine expansion pack is to be released, agaın it will come out as DLC(possibly with a free update that adds marine animal mechanics to the game), but DLC it will be the size of an expansion pack(We've seen an example of this at JWE, with Return To Jurassic Park DLC being a bigger package than other DLCs, but still called DLC). So I mean, they don't like to offer new mechanics with DLC packs or expansion packs(I'm speaking for Planet Zoo).I don't know if it will be a big expansion pack, but IF Frontier were to do the work of putting out a fully marine pack and all the animations and behavior to go along with it, you can bet they're not going to just release on small DLC for it. They may not do it at all. But if they do I can easily see, either a big expansion pack or, more likely a handful of separate DLCS. Same goes for flying and birds, though I think that is more likely than fully marine or fully aquatic animals. Mind you, not getting a fully marine pack would not prevent us from getting coastal animals with floating actions like otters, seals, walruses, etc, but it would probably mean that the swimming actions expected with those would not be fully developed.

If they were going to make an expansion pack, I hope it was Marine Mania. assuming the birds will come with an exhibition-style system, we can call it a big DLC. because I don't think there will be enough content to be called expansion pack for birds.
I repeat it again and again, I have no expectations, I am just telling my foresights.
honestly, I don't think they are going to focus on fully marine animals either. But I'm just saying if they did the work to get actual swimming mechanics and marine biomes in the game, got the various rigs and animations down, that opens up a whole list of animals they could bring in. So if they do end up doing it, which again, I don't think they will, but if they do it won't be just a pack or two like we've been getting. It's too much work for that.
I notice that tiger and jaguar will not dive underwater willingly... And the jaguar diving video that I posted few days ago , I notice that is the zookeeper throw some meats into the water , then only they dive into the water to eat the meatIn terms of underwater navigation, it has benefits for many species rather than just marine ones. It's worth doing regardless of whether or not they include marine animals.
For example, the polar bear, crocodilia, elephants, even the tigers and jaguars, are proficient divers in real-life, and adding underwater navigation would make these species far more interactive to the game. Then, in the future, we have animals such as river otters, beavers, potentially even seals, sea lions, and penguins to contend with. I'll never change my opinion that cetaceans and big aquarium animals ought to be avoided, but the concept of underwater swimming mechanics has uses far beyond that.
