Personally I think - yes. But mostly because you spent a lot of time in a creative mindset. I wouldn't say expert would be the correct term.
But if you spent a lot of time being creative in similar games, you raise your own bar for achievements - which mostly leads to a better result.
Or maybe you felt limited by another game and that limitation sparked a creative POV in the more detailed building in PZ.
From a building POV - not sure (every game has different building mechanics) but from a creative POV, I would say yes.
I agree - practice is extremely important but during that practice - i think there has to be a drive to do better, see more options and be more creative.
Being impatient and trying to be creative is not the best combination imo.
Just a personal insight: One of my biggest hobby's is photography - in a short time you'll be very critical and less happy with your "lesser" works. For example: I make +2000 photos on 1 day, 500 are good enough for basic purposes and out of those 500 only 5-10 are special good.
I also re-shot some of my earliest photo attempts - just because later on, I saw more options/angles to make that photo better.
I can easily mess up 100 photos in a row or lie down on the street in a crowded place - just to experiment. Sometimes not even 1 good attempt but happy I did it anyway.
One time I photographed a couple of meerkats, whistled to draw their attention right before i snapped - still one of my favorite photos. After I showed this to a fellow photographer and walked away, I could hear him whistle multiple times to create a similar photo as mine.
Learned some specific Photoshop options/inspirations from YT because I wanted a specific style for only 1 pic.
I'm pretty sure some people can relate to this when they build something in PZ.
Maybe a bit too much info

, but gives a bit more insight how some peopIe handle creativity.
