The goal of this topic is simple: gauge how many players are interested in Crossplay being added as a feature.

No problems from a PvE perspective - however, given the advantages available to PC players in terms of headlook / VR / M&K there might be some issues relating to control disparity for some console players who engage in PvP.

I'm a sometimes PvPer..I know there is a higher amount of skilled pilots that would absolutely destroy me if we had X-play but I still call for it because more encounters is cool n good! Also it might force me to get better.

One of the best pilots in the game uses a stock Xbox controller. There may be advantages from the hardware and refresh rates etc but I honestly don't mind. Bring it on!!

What about a setting in the menu where you could choose whether to "see" and be "seen" by players on other platforms? (default: on)

This way you could still choose to only interact with players on your own platform if desired.

Options are good.

It could be the delivered as a second Open mode option - shared by all platforms.

Control disparity exists on PC too. I don't necessarily see it as purely an issue for Crossplay, and for me it shouldn't cloud the fact that a cross platform multiplayer game with shared cross platform elements, and a large upcoming expansion, still has no Crossplay on it's roadmap.

But it exists on a voluntary basis.
I'd love some pip macros on XB. They work great on my PC account.

In most cases "this is not the fun you are looking for"

Possibly - however there's a disparity in maximum membership between consoles and PC (1k on the former; 20k on the latter).
