Are we going get a /sit emote?

Since we're getting legs and walking around with them.. do you think we're going to get emotes? That would be hilarious. I think i would like to jump ontop of my parked srv and do a sit emote ontop of a mountain watching the sunset. If i can't have my inflatable space camping tent "that will do".

Look in the spoiler for examples. If we don't get everyone single one of these, will pretend to be upset.

Seriously i wonder what emotes will be added. Better be at at least some. But please don't add them in if they aren't planned already, would much rather have ship interiors etc.

I have to admit, you got me there. At first I thought "Geee, yet another lame troll thread", but honestly, I like the idea of emotes for Space Legs. A simple quick action menu like in Fallout 76 with some basic emotes (Greeting/Farewell, Yes/No, Pointing, Sit). No silly things like dancing needed (althought it could be hilarious to watch dancing commanders in the social hubs for the proper Ironforge/Ogrimmar flashbacks)

Could fall either way :p Keeps it interesting. Does star citizen have emotes? Id be happy with a sit and cheer honestly. Maybe a sleep for bonus points. What about crouching? I think in the trailer there's crouching for the fps so there's that at least. Lastly no mans sky has a huge selection of emotes, good point.

I don't know about Star Citizen. The last two times I tried it on free weekends I didn't even leave the city due to the abysmal performance :LOL: I never used emotes in NMS to the point, that I genuinely forgot they are even ingame :D In Fallout it's really just a quick press of the button "G" and then use the radial menu to choose your emote (in 90% of the cases it's waving ;) )

Crouching in the Odyssey trailer could be a normal movement instead of a emote, though. For example to crawl into a tight space, to take a kneeling-position for higher accuracy, to take cover behind a rock etc.

I think emotes for Space Legs would also go well with the huge amount of screenshots the Elite community produces. I'm really warming up to the idea.

The system chat in Borann/New Borann was already Barrens Chat 2.0, so why not go all the way :LOL: Can I haz "Panic Bubble+Hearthstone" and my "Can't touch this" macro plz?

Ive only ever used them once.. was in the multiplayer thing, and a random person was running around to everyone giving away stacks of free materials. Was on console at the time so didn't know how to open chat.. and learned about the emotes.

If a player traded with you in a ground player hub and just gave you a stack of 20 meta alloys, would be good to show your appreciation.

Considering that we are talking 20 tons of meta alloys here, I'm not sure if I should feel thankful or offended if Hulk drops that amount of weight onto me :unsure:

Oh right. Maybe a storage ticket for the same thing. Yeah good point.

Well they'll be adding guns (first person attachments) so it might be plausible to want to give something to someone else.

It looked more than ok - and battles with more than 500-600 characters in the same zone were possible on the hardware we had at that time.

I hope there are none.

They just mean people will spam them and make the game world look silly.

Burn all emotes in all games.
