The only thing that I would crave for is actually the DLCâs releasing frequency. I would be more than happy to pay 3,99$ for a new animal every month.
I agree completely and made a similar suggestion here.

This might prove an interesting read to some: Link

I am confused on it, it is very animated for an object. So is it a decoration item or an enrichment object? It is one of those things I like to try out when the pack comes.I'm surprised no one's mentioned the robotic kangaroo statue:

That source is not reliable. It lists the dingo as a species distinct from the grey wolf (Canis dingo rather than Canis lupus dingo). This is taxonomically incorrect.
The opinion about the Dingo varies per person.
I can see where for some the Dingo is just an ordinary animal, nothing special. For me, if someone asks me to name up a few animals that come from Australia, the Dingo would definitely be among the first 3 to name, and the Cassowary would have been an animal that wouldn't be on that list. I've seen them, so I recognised them immediately, didn't even know they where Aussies.
I can see from that perspective why they choose the Dingo, As it's aw well known animal, maybe a bit to common yes.
I've seen people saying a European Pack wouldn't be viable because the animals aren't special. But to me, as a European, I can name plenty of animals that might not be known to people from other continents/area's that to me are worthy of a spot in the game IMO.
I really like the colorful scenery as well in the DLC.
The comments about the Tasmanian Devil I still don't get. They come from Tasmania and not Australia (Extinct on the Australian mainland for 3000 years).
Wouldn't that be weird in a "Australian" pack?
I agree though, it's one of those "rare" animals that deserve a spot in PZ.

As someone who currently lives in Tasmania, I feel qualified to state, without reservation, that Tasmania is a part of Australia.
It's called Australia DLC, not Australia Mainland DLC.
A lot of the animals endemic to Tasmania once lived in Southwestern Australia, before the Dingos or the European settlers came.
As a European, I wouldn't know and should have checked.
Apologies.![]()
speaking as an european, this pack has every iconic animal that is knowen here, maybe except for the Emu.
I think Iâd be less annoyed about the dingo if theyâd included the emu. As I and others have pointed out, itâs actually the 6th most common species in European zoos and for me is absolutely essential for an Australian zoo or mixed species enclosure.
It bothers me when people say itâs too much like the ostrich. If youâre building a random fantasy zoo with a random mix of animals and youâre happy with ticking the large bird box perhaps but for building real zoos with Australian sections or animals itâs a major omission.
Zootierliste.de doesn't show Animals that are kept private. It would be extremely difficult to make such a List and keep it actual. There would be almost no Farm Animals if it would really also show private Holdings and I think some People in Germany keep Tasmanian Pademelons as Pets but for some Reason there are none currently kept in EAZA ZoosOn the website zootierliste.de you can find how many collections of animals lifes in captivity (in european zoos, wildlife parks and private holding).
..... itâs actually the 6th most common species in European zoos
On the other hand, many zoos are not actually in Europe.
If you know a database of zoos from other regions, feel free to share!
