Species that are just a Must

As mentioned in the Video some Zoos tried to keep them so maybe they where one of that Zoos or you saw a relatively similar looking Species

Seems like they do keep them and even having them up for adoption

But this zoo is crazy, if any park can meet animal natural needs then it's them

The game could use more primates at some point - if they would add these (or 1 of these) that would be great.
The Siamang would (imo) be the most interesting to see/hear in PZ :D

Thought the same, Siamang for sound or Gibbon for acrobatics 😁
And Proboscis just for more tailed monkeys and unique one at that

Wow, that's absolutely awesome. I would really like to know what they do to keep them alive. Do they also breed there?

I would have to get into detail about that, as my Italian is not the greatest :D I'll try to run it through some good ol' Google Translate and see what they say

They dont, as I understand it. They have some conversation project in Madagascar and those Indris to "adopt" are actually wild ones.

Indris also dont appear on their animal list, so I am very sure;)
Ok, explains why they aren't listed on Zootierliste.de for this Zoo. At least I think Italian Zoos are also EAZA Zoos

For me, it's probably...
  • Otter (preferably North American river otter)
  • Meerkat (as full habitat animals, please :'D)
  • Penguin (king or emperor, and maybe the little blue penguin or perhaps rockhopper?)
  • Patagonian mara (very unique critters, and not many people seem to know about them)
  • Clouded leopard
  • Cassowary (any species, but preferably southern or northern)
  • Fox (arctic fox would be cool, though I'm not sure how they'd handle the seasonal coat changes (they could probably just pick one and leave it at that, no change), but since they weren't included in the Arctic Pack, I'm not sure how likely it is that they'd be added later anyways, so if not, maybe red fox? Also maybe fennecs)
  • Kangaroo (preferably red)
  • Fossa
  • Lynx (preferably Eurasian)
I'd also really like to see dingoes, Tasmanian devils, maned wolves, Przewalski's wild horses, secretary birds (or any other ground-dwelling/largely ground-dwelling birds, like maybe a bustard?), capybaras, quolls (eastern or maybe western? Again, as full habitat animals), fallow deer, and maybe wombats, moose, red deer, and either servals or ocelots. A small caiman species (like Cuvier's dwarf caiman) could be interesting, too, though I'm not usually as intrigued by reptiles. I'm sure I'm missing something that I'll think of as soon as I post this. =P

EDIT: I forgot the American beaver and coati (ring-tailed or white-nosed). Knew I would forget somebody. 😅

Both the standard Gibbon and Siamang Gibbon are very acrobatic and for sound I much rather have the standard Gibbon, because they sing and have more variety of sounds they make. If I had my way I would totally have both in PZ though. ;)

I could listen to this all day, lol, didn't know Gibbons were so "musical" 😁.
I really wish to see brand new animation set for them should they be implemented

If I could choose some must haves it would probably be:
1) African rhino white/black or both
2) Meerkat
3) Gibbon
4) Otter
5) Penguin
6) More birds flying/non flying
7) Cougar
8) Small cat species
9) Manatee I would love to have one.
Of course I’ve probably forgotten many more animals but I feel like these 9 animals would round the game out a little more. Of course a howler monkey comes to mind too. If I could add a wild card to this it would be a petting zoo dlc eventually.

My person "must have" list is:
  • Tiger quoll/numbat (numbats might be too small)
  • Muntjac
  • Toucan
  • Przewalski's horse
  • Tibetan fox
  • Any penguin, really
  • Sandcat

for me personally its:
any sort of Canine that isn't so large and predatory (could be a fox, maned wolf, jackal or coyote)
a type of deer aside from reindeer...
a small cat similar to above
a rodents of some sort
more hoofstock
meerkat*
otter*
another giraffe
penguin(s)*
*not what I want but would make the game more complete and if you add meerkat please add mongoose!

and what I want but I don't consider essential:
Dhole, Serow, Opossum or Possum, Kangaroo, New Guinea Singing Dog, maybe an UNIQUE subspecies of Wolf (such as Mexican, or British Columbia and SE Alaska Coastal)

I <3 your list ! It is unique rather than boring animals that would be referred to as "ABC" species

In terms of "must-haves" rather than "wants" there are only really a few that I think are missing from the game;

- Southern white or eastern black rhinoceros. Preferably the former, but happy with the latter. In general, a rhino from Africa.
- Meerkat. Staple of the zoo-species diet. The small size is not a good excuse to exclude them.
- Siamang or white-cheeked gibbon. The siamang is the most common species found in S. hemisphere zoos.
- Black-handed spider monkey. Another common sight in many zoos.
- Asian small-clawed otter. Goes hand-in-hand with underwater navigation mechanics, but at this point I'd take it even if just swam on the surface.
- California sea lion. This one definitely needs underwater navigation mechanics.
- Southern rockhopper/African/Humboldt penguin. Any three of these would be a welcome addition. Would also accept the king penguin and gentoo penguin.
- Serval and/or caracal. The game is lacking in small cats, and the serval especially has a large presence in zoo collections.
- Hamadryas baboon. Another common zoo animal.

IMO those are the animals that are needed to round out the roster to near-completion.

In terms of animals I desperately want, see all of the above, but also:
- North Island brown kiwi. With the new lighting mechanics in 1.3.0 making a faux nocturnal house will be easy.
- Tuatara (Exhibit Animal). This and the above would be a great token New Zealand inclusion.
- Clouded leopard. One of my favourite animals.
- Diana monkey. They're just beautiful, and endangered.
- Proboscis monkey. Extremely unique in both appearance, behaviour, and biome.
- Emu. No zoo game has given us the emu, and Frontier has missed their opportunity to be the first.
- Tasmanian devil. I had my heart set on this one. They're highly endangered and far more valuable to the biodiversity of the planet than the dingo.
- Sumatran tiger. I know, I know - a "clone animal". "Not another tiger!" you cry. Yes, I'd love this subspecies.
- Malayan sun bear. They could even remove the Himalayan brown bear from the roster if they wanted, or the grizzly, if it meant giving me this.
- Eastern grey kangaroo. Another kangaroo, already? Yes, these sweethearts make great walkthrough animals (along with the aforementioned emu).
- Bennett's wallaby. Another common walkthrough species.
- Blue/yellow-banded/phantasmal/dyeing poison dart frogs (Exhibit Animals). All of them, please.
- Addax,
- Scimitar-horned oryx,
- Common waterbuck,
- Blackbuck,
- Nilgai,
- Saiga,
- Dama gazelle,
- Gerenuk,
- Sitatunga. I have a soft spot for antelope.
- Great white pelican,
- Red-crowned crane,
- Grey-crowned crane,
- Brolga,
- Himalayan monal,
- Golden pheasant,
- Lady Amhearst's pheasant,
- Magpie goose,
- Cape Barren goose,
- Marabou stork,
- Shoebill. These are a few of my favourite (not necessarily flying) birds.

Aside from what I've already mentioned, there are also myriad exhibit animals I could choose.

Not sure whether anything counts as a 'must', but my list of really, really wanted animals includes (but is not limited to, since I'll forget something):

Birds:
Penguins - a medium species like Rockhopper or Gentoo, The Little blue, and King (much more realistic in captivity than the emperor)
Various small perching birds and small raptors (with some kind of new mechanic, probably like an exhibit with looped animations)
Various water birds and mainly terrestrial birds
Kiwi (any species)

Mammals:
Tassie Devil
Wombat
At least one wallaby (probably Bennet's but I'd love Yellow-Footed Rock Wallabies too)
Fossa
Fennec Fox
Meerkat
Scimitar-horned oryx
Water Buffalo
Small monkeys (any and as many as possible)
Seal or Sealion (any species)
Serval and/or caracal
Any otter (preferably Asian small-clawed)
Puma
More smallish mammals in general... Quolls, Numbats, Pademelons,

Exhibit:
Tuatara
Wetta
Leaf-cutter ants (would need to be animated though)

Other:
Butterfly spawner (for butterfly houses) - ideally would interest guests as a viewable species. Could be done by having the spawner look like a feeder (something similar could maybe work for small birds)

Tasmanian Devil
Echidna
Platypus
Black/White Rhino
Meerkat
Fennec Fox
African Penguin
Sloth
Spectacled Bear
Capybara
Maned Wolf
Asian small-clawed otter
North American river otter
Caracal
Arctic fox

Those are for sure my most wanted. I really hope we get another crack at some of the animals that were missed in previous DLC packs! Thanks to the Frontier team for a great job so far!

Emu. No zoo game has given us the emu, and Frontier has missed their opportunity to be the first.

WP3 added Emus with their "Down Under" DLC;)
