Hmmm ... it looks even better than I expected. Really amazing work. I was initially disappointed in them selecting this particular species, but that disappointment is definitely gone now. It's gorgeous! 🦎

In Discord Chante already confirmed that guest wont be able to enter the kangaroo habitat.

I have walked through plenty of kangaroo habitats in my time. It is extremely common here in Australia so I don't know where they got their information TBH.
Taronga Zoo in Sydney has an Australian walkabout habitat that is for guest walk-through, it has red kangaroos. And wallabies and emus among other things.
Here is a photo of a red kangaroo I took inside that habitat when I went to the zoo in January;

Come on Tuesday, where are you?! Can't wait, it's going to be out when I come home from work. Yay!

Right now, I'm actually more excited about the update and the additional foliage, rocks and building pieces. I love all the animals in the pack, but I have a different idea for a zoo at the moment and none of them would fit. Nonetheless super excited and I can't wait to get my hands on it!

Haha, same with the update. Also can't wait to revisit my old and new zoos to see the color variants. ^^' And as a sidenote, my bad building skills month ago. It has been februrary, since I were in Animalia.

I also feel you with "animals not fitting". I am lucky enough to currently have a project where they fit, but the concept for the zoo actually evolved, because I had 2 zoos when the Soutzh america pack came out and the dlc didn't fit the concept at that time. So with Unity I made it so that new dlcs are much easier to integrate.

It does happen, but not as commonly as the grey kangaroos which are more docile.

I don't mind either way on this one, to be honest.

I'm not sure if that is true or if it is just that Greys are more common in Captivity. Like I said, Taronga Zoo - Australia's leading zoo, has Reds in walkthroughs. As does Australia Zoo, Adelaide Zoo, Perth Zoo - These are the biggest Zoos in Australia. Even a park in Alice Springs called Desert Springs has Reds in walkthroughs. Cincinnati Zoo just opened a new walkthrough habitat that houses Reds (males only, too).
I don't think there is correlation between temperament of the Reds vs Greys on if they are in a walk-through habitat or not. From what I have seen, if a Zoo has different species of Roo, they will just house them together, not separate them into different enclosures.

Being in a walkthrough enclosure in the game I think will just make the kangaroo a more versatile and fun animal to play - and completely realistic to have them in a walkthrough. I won't be hugely disappointed if they are not going to make the roos able to have walkthrough enclosure, but I don't understand why not to be honest.

I'm very excited about the color variations. Honestly, I didn't think it would excite me so much, but it does. I can't wait to see the llamas, I think they will be one of my first animals I'll put in my new zoo.

This is just being me, but I'm glad summer is ending and autumn is around the corner, being my favorite season along with winter so I'm feeling all autumn-ish and Australia pack has this big summer vibe going on and I just don't feel like making a summer zoo. But I will probably make a smaller zoo with just Australian animals, just to try the animals out.

I can't stand summer and LOOOOVE autumn and winter. We seem to have a lot in common. :) So yeah, maybe that's one of the reason why I'll buy that pack, but am not as excited as I was for the arctic pack. Really looking forward to a bit "cooler" theme, like the colder parts of europe, antarctic, north america.... you name it. Maaaybe we are lucky enough for one of these themes in november / around the holidays. Unless Frontier decides having Planet Coaster console out is enough to grab the typical christmas-present-money.

Oh absolutely! I do wonder what Frontier will do for 1 year anniversary...It'll be just in time for a new DLC (or around it)...One can hope! :p

I love the koala! 🐨 Really excited about this now, especially after reading the developer journal.

I think it wouldn't be accurate, red kangaroos are pretty dangerous animals
I know.. I thought they would compromise on this one.
Think they should've added the Grey Kangaroo + walktrough instead of the Red Kangaroo...

A little more accuracy is not a bad thing for me

Agree, but Frontier could be a bit more consistent on this part

Hello Chante, what a beautiful pack, exceptional work, and I do agree that the cassowary is an incredible addition. To have another bird (much needed) added to the game is just wonderful. Thank you for being active during our discussions, and I hope you understand that all is intended to honor this fantastic game, one of a kind indeed. Chante since you are here, I hope you still are, would it be possible to get an update on the availability of users to be able to upload images to the game via billboards etc. I understand Planet Zoo does not follow the timeline of Planet Coaster, since that feature was added to that game with the first summer update, however since it has already being revealed by Frontier's Developers in the past that this was a feature that had been intended for the base game, and the team just ran out of time, could we get an update? It has been quite some time since release, and many other features have been address, but on this particular subject Frontier has stayed silent. Thank you and have a good day.

This is something that the team are looking to work on again down the line, but it's not something we anticipate will be added in to Planet Zoo this year. If and when I have more information on this, I will let you know.

Chante thank you very much for your response, it is greatly appreciated, and it does provide guidance and perspective to those of us that are highly anticipating this feature. As always you and your team do outstanding work and thank you for listening to the feedback of the community, as I know it can become quite demanding at times. Again thank you for your very informative response, it is certainly great news to know that the team is still looking into working this feature into the game and not have given up on it.
