🐨 Planet Zoo: Update 1.3 and Australia Pack out now! 🐨

I discovered a Translation Error at the Coffee Vendor in the German Version. At least I don't think that the Guests get a small Jug of Coffee from it but a Tin instead. I can understand how it was possible to get it wrong because I just found out that Can can mean both. The correct Translation would be Dose and not Kännchen

Edit: just heard my Koalas making the Breeding Call 😍
Is it intended that there aren't new Sounds for the Ambience Speakers? I was excited when I heard the Kookaburra at the Beginning of the first Trailer and thought we would be able to play their Sounds over the Speakers

I think wolves need more dramatic colour variation to belong in the "major" group - my lions, aardvarks and hyenas, for example, all have more colour options and more striking differences than the wolves. My wolves have three subtle to moderate variants: grey, grey-red and red-brown. The wolves need a black, chocolate brown and blonde variation (keeping grey and grey-brown most common) and then they will belong in "major".

Could we please use the llama patch system to add varying white markings to the wild dogs, so they can be in the major category where they belong? They would be perfect with white patches over the new colours.

Also, king cheetahs are more common than spotless, so we should have those too, please :).

The bengal could also have tabby variants as well, as rare as leucistic. This one is a little more understandable to leave out, but I think if leucistic made it in, these deserve a place too:

Llamas are an entirely domestic species, who have colour variation only due to human selection to make pretty wool. They are the most varied species in the game, so I think wolves, cheetahs and wild dogs deserve to have proper distinct variants and be put in the major group too. I know there is debate over the origin of black wolves, but that was 12-15,000 years ago and was not created by humans, and was then naturally selected for. I think if an entirely domestic species can have such wonderful coat inclusions in game, the wild species deserve as much love for their diversity.

Thank you for all other species variations in the game, they all look spectacular! The lions are a particular favourite for me, their colours look fantastic. Maybe these above additions will take some more time, but I think they're entirely possible and would make the species truly accurate and immersive.

The Rainbow tree doesn't seem to have Oceania as a tag so animals from Australia probably won't like it in their habitat. The only continents in the tags are Asia and North America. North America makes no sense as I did a quick google search and apparently this tree is only found in the Phillipines, Indonesia and New Guinea!

So, when can we expect a hotfix? The game is currently unplayable due to all this new introduced bugs. We paid for the game, for the new DLC but still have to wait again to play it in a normal way. So we've to wait weeks again because of these bugs? What's about testing a product before release? The game is crashing every time a workzone is edited (not talking about the new bug that it doesn't keep the signed buildings in a certain workzone). You celebrating yourselves for releasing content which was offered since official release (individual, unique animals) and copy and pasting some vendors from Planet Coaster while the game is working worse than the Beta?

I think I've heard once that Eucalyptus Trees are used to dry out Wetlands in the USA (I think in the Everglades) to create Place for Buildings or something similar but then the Trees spread out to much and it's hard to get rid of them there. Maybe that's the Species they used. Also they don't grow in Australia

That explains why it states North America.

No they do not grow in Australia but they do grow in New Guinea which is in Oceania which is what the tag is, sorry I should have put Oceanian not Australian animals.

the game still has problems with fps ... they don't want to know about problems and bugs, they want dlc and money on account ... I stopped playing the game because it is impossible to play with 10 to 15 fps, the menus are so slow, I expect a solution since version 1.2.2... I have 300 hours of gameplay, I will not buy another game from your company :mad::mad::mad:

The team are working on a fix now for the work zones crashes, and aim to have it out this week. For any other issues you're experiencing, please report them to our Issue Tracker.

It's a shame, then I'll wait to play.

Maybe the next one, so it seems to be more difficult than I thought.

But as promised, I won't test the other ways.

The changes sound really great! I am really excited.

Hey bud, I checked with the team on this - they do believe the issue with saving terrain blueprints has been fixed. Give it a test on your blueprints you were having issues with, and if it hasn't been remedied, please send any save files you're still struggling with back to us. We'll take another look!

The problem with FPS and stuttering is a big problem, but I don't believe it will be fixed because it's a problem with the game engine, maybe in the future with a Planet Zoo 2 and a new engine that can use directx12. I suggest you to work with small and different parks.

🤔 You're right. It should be in the Oceania Filter

It is already reported. Please read your Issue Tracker.

Unbelieveable we pay for that and really have to wait another uncertain time instead of just pretesting your own products before sell them.
