When could we expect the meta game road map of the road map's road map to come out??

What we really need is a list of known unknowns so that we may best scry and ascertain what the tea leaves portend for this road map's future.
 
About boredgamer, I never found useful informations on his videos. It might be the same for his ED videos.

The Volatile cargo, quantium-40 or what ever unrefined quantum fuel is called?
 
On yesterday's Inside Star Citizen, a lead network programmer says (about server meshing):
...it's basically just fixing a load of bugs that have crept in over the years...It's quite tricky it's quite um detailed work... Now um hopefully that will be done soon and then yeah we're also looking at getting two servers talking to each other...

...the fundamental problem there is that the engine's based on the assumption that um a server thinks it owns the game session...
So they have massive technical debt. And eight years into an MMO project, they are, just maybe, ready to try to get two servers to talk to each other.
 
Now um hopefully that will be done soon and then yeah we're also looking at getting two servers talking to each other...

Maybe hiring kids out of kindergarden isn't the best way to explosively expand your company for no good reason.

Because of this, Elevator Panel Updates has been moved to the Alpha 3.12 column.
Elevator Panel walks into a bar and orders some bandwidth. The Bartender AI says "Sorry, none left. Come again next jesus-day".

It goes back to what i said previously: CE was never, even remotely made for this kind of scenario. It's a bit sad but not so surprising they are discovering that 8 years in the project as i tend to think they never bothered to make the effort of actually delivering something consistent, but just a base animated framework for backers to move 3D assets around.

Another crowd funder that was to be delivered in 2016... reminds me of something else. I love how he shows the move from the dreams.txt promise to the harsh reality through his own "magical" device that in the end is just a plastic container...

"Looking at getting two servers to talk together".... i mean, really?

I can't wait for them to claim its never been done before.
