Will their be Planet Zoo stuff on Games Com?

A star wars pack... LOL. The only people who got excited over this were people who don't usually play the Sims (and therefore don't know about the countless flaws it has). And Simmers actually get space ships before they get cars. In a life simulation.
Good to know that I'm not the only one who hated it. Why a Star Wars Pack and why like this? They could've made some kind of Deco Pack out of it with little Figures to collect and Models to build (and grown Men fighting against each other with Toy Light Sabers😂). They already have a lot of Star Wars Costumes in the Main Game for some Reason. They should've really done something with it that fits better into the Game

You aren't. You absolutely aren't. Tomorrow get some popcorn, hop on to the official twitter post and read the comments under the trailer post. Worth it ^^

Kinda sad that it seems they won't release any more dlcs for JWE.
Oh, did they announce that? I used to love that game, but it's a bit dull now compared to Planet Zoo. No actual building system, very little interactions between dinos, and the dinos don't do much in general. If they made the rumored sequel, I might get it, but only if they gave it real building, and more interesting dinos. And this would mean console fans would be left out, BUT PlanZoo and PlanCo players would likely start playing. It's not something that will probably happen, but I can still dream. 🦖

I'm only reading very rarely on Twitter but I think I will check it out. Sounds like it will be really funny to see how everyone or almost everyone is against this Expansion Pack

No, they didn't, but since they call the switch game "complete edition" it seems like JWE is... well... complete with the dlcs it has. And we haven't had new content for 9 month. So I guess, when they announce Planet Zoo for console, we pretty much new we are done with DLCs. Look at Planet Coaster... I doubt that will get something new.

It could be that we will really get a Sequel with some really interesting Behavior for small Dinosaurs (for Example Velociraptors being able to dig under Fences like it was seen in The Lost World) but of course I can't guarantee that the Informations he got are really true
Edit : forgot to post the Link to the Video

I have a feeling their timings were impacted by lockdown etc and that there might be something coming more quickly as a result but who knows...

So far it doesn't seem the gaming industry has suffered from COVID. Not sure why everyone thinks they are and acts like it is amazing they still work. They are the lucky ones to have jobs that didn't get impacted very much. I haven't seen any major company delay any game releases this year. Blizzard is still able to release its expansion in October, Gearbox has released dlc for borderlands on regular 3 month intervals, etc.

We also had a dino pack in nov 2018 and Dr. Wu in dec which added new dinos, story+missions and genes. Oh and the Clair dlc also added the whole paleo diet thing, so that wasn't just missions and dinos eithe
Ahh.. I assumed with major you meant the JP one

JWE is a licensed game - there is some hope (if you are interested) when the new movie comes out ,with the current expected release date in june 2021.
Haven't touched the game in a while but I think the game's done.

I think some minor delays and a few games postponed for a few months. Most of those minor delay had to with distribution. But looking at the overall situation - the gaming industry did pretty good.

For Planet Zoo and other Frontier IP, it wouldn't delay it as much, but something like JWE probably did get delays. External IP things always works slower anyway for any industry unless the license owners don't care about it at all (and even then you normally have a sample and check thing for it) that involves passing things around...and if it's tied to an active property, you have delays on the other end effecting the development side as well.

I did just that, popcorn included. It was absolutely hilarious! 95% of the commenters were absolutely disgusted, no other way to put it. But why would people be upset? You obviously need Stars Wars characters in a game about managing the peaceful, ordinary lives of Sims. Obviously. I can imagine similar backlash if we got a mythical DLC. And maybe half that if we got an extinct one.

Oh the gaming industry has definitely suffered. Nintendo's list of 1st party games this year is empty compared to previous years. Frontier pushed the Planet Coaster console edition release to 'Holiday 2020' when it was originally set for a summer launch. Halo, Cyberpunk, Destiny, the list goes on of games that have had some sort of delay.

All these companies have had to force their developers to work from home which definitely doesn't make things any easier. So while development hasn't stopped, its definitely slowed down.

Pretty sure we get a sequel then and not a DLC. DOn't know if I will get it. I love the franchise and liked the game. But Planet Zoo is almost a hobby on it's own and then there is paralives coming... I definately need to marry someone rich and stop working. :D

I see the horribleness of the new Sims pack has managed to creep over here too. I like Star Wars and would buy a stand online Star Wars Sims game (like Medieval) but not within the actual Sims game. Will be the second Sims content I don't purchase, with 20 years of playing. The other being that Katy Perry monstrosity. Anyways, at least we have Planet Zoo continuing with good content!

I see a lot of people really wanted this 😂
They really absolutely don't listen to their Fans. For Years lots of Players would really like a Farm Expansion Pack and all we got was a stupid April Fools Joke that there will be a Farm Expansion 😒
If they think, they need to charge 40€ for some Expansion Packs, they should at least listen to their Fans.
I'm so glad that Frontier isn't like that

It's funny, I have always wanted a modern remake of Jedi Academy with character creation on par with the Sims. Now they've made this, which is sort of a Frankenstein's monster of things I like in a form which I really, really hate.

Great comment. Some people complain about people should express their opinion/wish for mythical (or extinct) animals. The reason why people react to this, is to avoid situations like these :D

I feel this is a way to get people from the Star Wars games involved with Sims4. Not a pack for Sims4 players.
From a marketing POV I understand this but to connect with your audience/franchise fans - no.

Star Wars Fans play Star Wars games. A Gamepack with the Sims doesn't provide a lot of game play. In theory, the big expansion packs do (but they don't), but game play packs aren't really made and meant for longterm fun. So if any Star wars Fan doesn't play Sims 4 anyway, they won't just start just because of this pack. I agree that that might be the idea behind the pack, but it isn't thought through by EA and to be honest, I think they got just a bunch of bucks from disney.

As others have said, this is a life simulation. A life simulation where the players don't have cars and can't carry their babies from one room to another, but can soon fly around in a spaceship and cary a laser sword. It's ridicolous.
