Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

It's almost as if they've lied about everything. Ever.

I wonder what the 14% Mystery Armour is?

A master artisan crafted, handmade budgie smuggler in tasteful beige, painstakingly wrought from the very scales of the legendary Sandwurmie itself?

I'm more amazed by the growth of the elevator panels from having 3 tasks to 11.

Obviously i don't understand elevator panel refactor development.

Interesting that the subreddit that's usually heavily populated by cultists is now in open rebellion, asking questions like "where is Chris" or "why is the roadmap not moving at all"..
The loss of elevator panel button rework is indeed a sad one, as these are now utterly broken in New Babbage, and otherwise done in a such horrible manner people would be excused to think they just dont work (they kinda do, after a while, with absolutely zero feedback..). It's also a "never done before" feature as never any other game programmer managed to mess up just a plain basic feature like elevator or door buttons, indeed.

Except for elevator panels, Hot is still 50% populated with screenshots and the rest if theorycrafting, fantasies, and other rubbish.

You have to go to controvertial for the fun stuff.

Hang on a second - I'm not sure I caught this right and I really can't be backsided to go and watch it again - but did CI-G just say that they cannot even get their backend to synchronise time?

Is Genuine Roberts going to have to sit down and invent Distributed Bespoke Serialised Variable Tokenised Container Streaming Objective NTP?

Went round to my mate mad Mark's today to see if he had a spare 95mm cooling fan for my 1080ti...discovered instead he had a complete liquid cooling rig sitting in bits...including a baseplate for my seemingly rare 1080ti mini, a 240mm radiator complete with custom tubing plus a nice reservoir and pump. Dragged my PC round there and we built another custom liquid cooling rig for the 1080ti instead of farting about with fans. Cost me 20 quid and some of Ker's home baked shortbread :)

Had a rake around his spare bits room too (a proper geeks paradise that room)...found a nice Corsair 780-T case I fell in love with (it has flashing buttons and almost enough room to park my Land Rover inside)...a random 2TB MX-500 NVME...which I don't have a slot left for on my board...but also in the room of treasures, I found a PCiE NVME adapter...both bought for a fiver since I fixed his lawnmower whilst I was there. To cap it all he gave me a brand new Corsair 1000W PSU since he had no use for it...I like going round to mad Mark's :D

I'm sorry. Do you really expect us to believe that you actually have friends that are not satanic cows?

Mark is as mad as a brush...he has Asperger's syndrome...a type of autism. He does well talking to my cows but not so good with people. We've been close friends since I moved here...since generally he talks less shyte than 90% of the folks I've ever met :D

Ker and I do his shopping for him, I help him with paperwork and dealing with government agencies and the like. He's an absolute giant of a man and can appear quite intimidating to a lot of folks if they don't understand his type of autism... I help him with the day to day things he finds difficult, which is usually dealing with other people...fix all his mechanical stuff for free etc, etc. When it comes to building PC's though, he's also an absolute wizard. :)

For comparison…

In 1999, LJM Cayman L.P. and LJM2 Co-Investment L.P. were founded with pretty much the sole purpose of committing fraud. The questionable ethics of their nature was known pretty much from the start, so obviously, Andy Fastow was immediately investigated, right? Weeeeeeell… it would take until 2002 for him to be indicted, and the only real reason that happened was became clear that Enron itself was pretty much a fraud (to the tune of having $15-20bn worth of obligations it had no way of meeting) — something that had been steadily going on and growing since, oh, 1993 or so. And that, too, was pretty well known.

All it took for the the authorities to get involved was for the internet bubble to burst, the water bubble to burst, half a dozen bodged privatisation schemes, and a bit of international terrorism… and for all of that to make the market become sufficiently nervous to, in turn, make journalists look a bit closer at the rosy picture that had been painted over the last decade or so. Only then did investors start to act on what a huge number of them already knew, making the house of cards collapse in on itself, and opening up the door for all kinds of actual actionable fraud investigations.

So yeah, the idea that bunch of people with no financial stake goofing off on an internet forum would in any way have an incentive, much less any actual clout, to get an investigation started against yet another Hollywood accounting scheme — which are a dime a dozen — is nothing short of pants-on-head [ableist].
Do not give up, do not use excuses from 1999

No facts here just a one sided image, Carry on Goofing off

How does a game with such a low player base make allegedly so much money. This doesn't add up and I'm calling it's bogus. Or - if it really pulls so much money - it 's coming from other sources.

You keep making these vague statements. then when we all challenge you on them you go silent and deep.
You do not answer all the questions we ask you about your allegations..

Here we go again hoping for some facts.

LOW PLAYER BASE ---- what numbers over what period
SO MUCH MONEY--- how much over what period

What do you refer to as "other sources"?
Please try not to be vague if you actually try to answer that one.
