Wow, it's so anaemic. The result of 3-6 months work at a cost of $15M - $30M. It's such poor value.

'CIG works also on'? Maybe, maybe not. No way to tell as we have not seen any results from this 'work' and you would normally expect things being worked on to be mentioned on the roadmap.

Ah to hell with it. They still can't deliver on what they promised with what they have or probably even double of what they have (or more precisely, what they had, because most of it has already been spent).

This really could be the first half a billion dollar alpha. As long as backers keep giving them money.

Actually, when was the last time you gave CIG money? Perhaps its time to renew your pledge? CIG are going to need every bent nickle they can get to make even a MVP, let alone the BDSSE.

Suppose SQ42 turns out to be crap and icache is just another SSOCS and "cloudtech" is broken beyond all reasoning, what then? Is it still good money spent and worth the wait with horrifically anaemic patches along the way?

RPC is definitely one of those P=NP-equivalent problems that have plagued computing since the dawn of TIME().

I don't understand your question about SQ42.
If you buy something in advance and it appear to be crap when released, it's bound to be a bad deal, whatever the product.
