My son got banned

From GTA for cheating. Yup, he was running a money creator hack a few days ago. He got busted, banned for 1 month and ALL his in-game stuff was zero’d out. Serves him right. Do the crime, do the time. Devs were diligent, swift, decisive, and I don’t think my son will do that again.

That’s how it’s done. Or should be done. Just saying.

And this is not off topic. It should be done this way in E: D

Yeah. Cheaters should be punished.
I'm not sure I've encountered a cheater in Elite. I probably wouldn't know even if I did (I've seen a video of one doing a show of blocking a mailslot with beluga though) and more importantly I wouldn't care.
Hackers in GTA or RDO are hard to miss - they just ruin game for everybody around them. And there's a lot of them.

At least in Elite hackers can't change my ship into a giant pig or teleport me somewhere for giant aligators to feast on.

FDEV do warnings, temp bans, shadow bans, perma-bans and even multi-account perma bans for cheating. They just don't name and shame.
