If you could add 3 new features.

..and finally a bit related to this: saving blueprints with more than 4000 pieces ( maybe with an override-"caution your computer could crash"-option in the settings)
While I agree with your other options :D

I don't think a feature with a warning "this could crash your game" is a great idea. Basically waiting to have unique bugs/broke save games in PZ :p

1:
Multiple random, or at least pregenerated (possibly user-created from the workshop), non-flat starting maps for all biomes

2:
Multiple (2+) habitat gates

3:
Climate: Allow chance of rain/snow/etc and temperature to be manually set. Ideally also include seasons (1 season/year would work but 4/year would be too quick I think). Allow mixed biome textures (i.e., long grass from e.g., temperate, rock from tropical, dirt from desert etc.)

1. Cable car (with cable, refer PlanCo Gondola )- for more capacity with the transport. The Cable-cable car to glide over attractions and traverse 45 degree slopes and not have the bulky supports that the in game gondola has - for more versatility in multi-level/ mountainous zoos and aerial views of huge areas of land/enclosures. Also have multiple stops in the cable line.
2.Semi Tropic biome for Australia - at least one not always 44 degrees C.
3. Aquatic plants and underwater walkway tunnels for aquariums - with built in enclosed tunnel/doming features. Aquatic Plants like Elodia sp., Vallesneria sp., Cabomba sp., Ambulia sp., Echinadorus sp. Java Fern sp. etc; and a host of fully submerged aquatic plants to aqua-scape the bottom of exhibits that guests look into. Like looking into an Amazonian River with all of its rich aquatic Flora. Would be nice and allow for more biodiversity and beauty in the enclosures. Also Dugongs too - would be awesome :)

Hmm... always plenty of new things to want... right now maybe...

1. Functional Null Wall for Animals and People
I have this nice area of my park all decorated and such, but it involved covering path with decorative objects, and now my guests just phase through all of it... an invisible barrier that blocks all movement would be very helpful in keeping guests and such out of the decorations. Maybe even add some one-way barriers? In case someone gets stuck inside or you just have an area that should only be accessible from one direction...
2. Move Terrain through Paths option
We have options to move terrain through lots of things... but not paths... and right now that's a major headache considering the large hitboxes paths have. It's especially noticeable when you try to put down raised paths, or more specifically slopes and stairs... you can't build these on the ground, but you can't close the gaps between them and the terrain either, so you can't even make them look like they were built on the ground.
3. Placeable Zones
An option similar to putting down paths, but instead you're putting down a zone to perform a specific function. In addition to the obvious "Workzone" option - because telling your keepers to work near buildings does nothing to keep the litter around empty path areas clean - what about a "Viewzone" option? I create nice areas specifically for my guests to view my animals, but instead they stand on the path outside... clogging up the paths and complaining about the horrible view. Maybe even make it so you could connect it to a specific animal, like the education boards?

PlanCo had a "ribbon barrier" which served this purpose. It could be sunk right into the ground and was still effective. It's one of the most highly-requested features for Planet Zoo (along with the vista points, which go some ways to fulfilling your third feature) so I don't doubt we'll see something like that included eventually.

I assume this it meant for the Janitors? The workzone seems to work fine for the zoo keepers etc but always find it annoying not being able to make a workzone for the janitors, I tend to high light some buildings in a certain area and it seems to have some effect but a workzone you can place with be so much better here.

Additional:
1. 'null' paths, i.e. a 100% non-visible path (like the natural paths but without any kerbs) for guests and staff.
2. Being able to rename a bought animal before putting it in a habitat, i.e. in the trading or quarantine tab.
3. A real individual configuration possibility for the alerts and notifications

1. Snapping for more building pieces, not just basic ones. All sorts of props could really use it.
2. Improved climbing in general. The animals clip, levitate, and seem really weird when they climb. The ability to select pre-diagonally rotated climbing pieces without having to rotate them yourself would also be nice.
3. More varied behavior. I've heard this mentioned before. Some people think it wouldn't be "meaningful" to gameplay, but if some animals liked, for instance, swimming more than others, people who built an enclosure with lots of water could see it used more.

Bonus (less a feature, more of an addition): More foliage (there are several niches not filled by existing plants, like smaller shrubs for African grassland ).

You can rename while in trade center or quarantine. Go to your zoo's animal list.

My top 3 would be...

1. Suckling mammalian offspring and mothers carrying babies where appropriate to species.
2. Education staff - to give talks at podiums or guide small tours.
3. Proper 3D swimming for semi-aquatic to aquatic animals. Also aviaries and different sized exhibits.

Those are my three(ish) ;).

Notes
Need notes for each animal so we can stop putting stupid crazy character strings for names. Should show on animals screen and ideally somewhere on trade screens

Cemetery
Have it placeable, along the border, and have it grow into the out of bounds area. Have a section where we can choose a couple of plants and trees to autopopulate .. or just use the biome defaults, and have it auto-generate / sprawl with the tombstones and the names. Maybe allow us to edit the names so we can take out whatever characters we use for notation.

UI fixes
I mean .. this has been asked for, for centuries .. why when I compare mates on page 5 .. am I sent back to page 1? WHY?!?!?! Seriously you cant program a UI to remember what page I was on?
Why can't the animals page remember my filters?
Why does exhibit page still switch to showing all species when I release 1 animal?

This is all UI 101 stuff .. frankly alarming how poor some of this still is. I mean the rest of the game is great, but ..

Most things were mentioned already, but these are my top 3 wishes:

1. Better grouping-possibilites of building-pieces, so we don't have this weird situations where we can't merge 2 groups, because of grid- or non-grid pieces.
2. Non-grid-pieces with with a possibility of them switching to the grid.
3. In all animal lists (mainly in zoopedia and animal trade): better filter-options, for example the possibility to write down a letter (eg "s") and the list automatically moves to the animals starting with the corresponding letter ("s") (hope you understand, my english is a bit rusty). These scroll-lists are just a pain.

1. Fish exhibits: Basically, fish aquariums that function like the exhibits. They'd be gorgeous.
2. More variations of food and drink shops.
3. Glass paths: Not my idea, but I absolutely love this idea.

Hey, I'm pretty easy to please, I guess.

1. mirror pieces, buildings and stuff
2. half walls, roofs etc
3. just a generally path overhaul, because it makes me not wanna play the game at all

1. Aviaries and diving animations, so all kind of a birds and diving animals would be possible.

2. More activities for guests - all kind of kiosks/buildings/activities/touch pools/animals shows etc. ZT2 did excellent job with activities for guests while still remaining in zoo theming. Would also love to see more nature wonders other than animals that guests can see in your zoos - animal/dinosaur skeletons, minerals, rare plants, corals, annual rings of tree trunks...all cool things that you could make exhibits for. Many zoos do exhibit all kind of nature curriosities beside animals.

3. More interactions/animations for animals. Egg laying birds, nurturing animal mothers, animals interacting with glass barriers and with guests etc. Would be nice if each animal have more interactions with others in the pack/herd/flock instead of just one adult animation per species (and some even seems to have just the mating animation and nothing else, which is sometimes quite boring atm.). I know that would be a lot of work, but currently everytime you see your animals interact with another, it is the same animation again and again. If each species had like 3 non mating animations, it would be way more entertaining to look at them.

I would absolutely adore this as well. I think it ties nicely into the idea of a general animal "personality" overhaul.

It would be great if animals had personalities with set values (on a grading scale) which influenced how they behaved in their environment. In this case, it would be great if animals that were especially "curious" in personality spent as much time observing the guests as the guests observe the animal. I remember a great video I saw where a man was showing a male gorilla pictures of female gorillas on his phone through the glass viewing window, and the gorilla would gesture to ones he liked and didn't like. Or another video where an orangutan male was making faces at a child through the glass, and one where an orangutan female was cooing over a mother and her baby.

Even at my local zoo there is a springbok that is so inquisitive that they had to put up another two layers of barrier to prevent people from trying to pat it through the fence. The rest of the herd is fairly easygoing and doesn't tend to stray too far, but this one buck was always at the fenceline snorting at people and trying to show off. There was also a male nyala at Wellington Zoo that I remember used to bow its head to people as though challenging them to a fight.

The animals definitely need a little more oomph, that's for sure.
