Spectacular! Even as a relative but eager newcomer to the game community, you’ve won me over with your free-spirited independence of the galaxy’s superpowers, and seem like a bunch of fun-lovin’ criminals that remind me of a fictional space crew who aimed to misbehave.

So that’s that then, sign me up for the International (interstellar?) Brigade as soon as I get back. I’ll holla when I’m ready to emigrate to Colonia and you can organise me a celebratory gank to pop my PvP cherry and cleanse me of any lingering inhibitions about space aggro (y)

I'm lucky - as Ratkatcher I can get to banter with the console crowd on discord, but unlucky that we can't fly out together in this game... For which they are probably grateful that no exuses need to be made to avoid me being in their wing 🤷‍♂️

Perhaps when you arrive an invite could be sent to come chat with us - that would be good (y)

That would be sterling, thanks CMDR o7! I’ve only unlocked Farseer so far so once I’ve hit Elite explo rank I’ll plot my course back to the Bubble, refit my Keelback as the hull-tankin’, rail gun packin’ INFANT HERACLES and dive nostril deep into grinding the other engineers and get stuck into some Open PvE to see what these space battles are all about. After that, well hopefully someone with a FC and a spare hangar bay will be heading out to Colonia and I can join the good fight (y) but I haven’t a clue what pew-pew entails really so I could do with advice on my builds and whatnot.

This CMDR is ready to defend a free Colonia, for your freedom and ours!

You only need to unlock to L3/4 the 'common knowledge' engineers:- Elvira Martuuk, The Dweller, Todd "The Blaster" McQuinn & Liz Ryder (which will give you plenty of goodies to play with anyway) and get to Expert in combat to unlock all 4 Colonia engineers... Just mentioning it :) FC's are flitting to & from Colonia regularly these days too, when you decide to come it may only be 15 hours later you'll be playing engineers with only 40Ly or less between each!

I'm with my carrier in the bubble and will be returning to the nebula somewhere near next Thursday. Shoot me a message if you want to ride along.
It'll be an automated ride, so in 15 hours I'll hop you over the pond. Oh, got outfitting and a shipyard installed, you can take whatever you want with you.

Why thank you good sir, that’s a splendid offer and if I’m back in time I’ll most certainly take you up on it, o7!

I’m going to see if I can get an hour or so game time tonight, head back to the DSSA carrier I’m currently stationed at to sell the data I’ve gathered and then plot a course back home. Can’t guarantee I’ll be back in time but I’ll send you a message if I am (y)

Oh, and though I’m going to try and make the trip back via another DSSA carrier I’m sure I’ll gather up a reasonable amount of UC data, if I hang on to that and cash it at Robardin will that antagonise the oppressors of free Colonia? I know I’m not ready for a fight but I’ve bought a bottle of wine after work and feel like kicking a hornet’s nest...

There is a war going on in carcosa, so inf is locked at the moment. I'm pretty sure explorer data won't be doing much there. But thx for the offer :)

There is a special channel with liners going back and forth. You might be lucky to find a ride back to the bubble as well.
(or just take a death taxi (after you handed in that data of course))
