with that medium class gpu only , i5 would be better because its cheaper . its better to put money into better gpu and stay to i5.

The only issue I see is the power supply. It fine for now. But if you want to Do dual SLI or Crossfire you might not have the power later.

I'm hearing you guys :D

I changed it to an i5 4690k

Should i go for a GTX 760 instead of the 750 Ti it's £50 more ??

well its infinite way to go higher realy ..after 760 u can always find something thats little bit more expenccive and faster and so on .. just dont forget change PSU with better gpu as well .
it depends what res u gonna use and what you want from game , like are you some graphic maniak or you ok with what you see.. could be worth to buy 760 sure..but then again ..its what you want. here better gpu is better then better cpu . so thats one.

I'd say your processor choice is good, stick with it and upgrade the GPU.

If your budget cant stretch to a 970, I'd recommend waiting until the 960s or 950s become available. The 970 is really the sweet spot as far as bang for the buck is concerned right now though, so that would be by preference.

The 900 series also have the extra features for VR should you decide to get a rift in the future.

For gaming don't go below the x60 models for nvidia cards tbh.

There is a massive jump between the x50s to x60s. E.g. the 760 is almost twice as powerful as a 750, which is why it costs much more.

The 970 is about level with a 780, so at that price it's a steal :)
