That great ship -- that you won't use because you're a stubborn cuss

Apologies to @Michael Whatever for blatantly ripping off his idea.

Which ship is your anti-favourite? The one that outfights all the others, flies like a dream, hauls more cargo than an FC, and you just won't use it because you don't like it so there?

Mine is, without apologies, the Anaconda. The meta, ultra-exploring, crap-hauling, all-ship fighting, everything-doing god among ships. My only use for the conda is pointing MCs at it and holding down the trigger until it stops existing. I utterly hate it. Why? Because I do, so neener neener. I have several reasons and they're all stupid. That's kind of the point; I'm willing to hobble my gameplay and put myself at a disadvantage simply because I just plain don't like the ruddy thing.

Now I'll have @Yamiks throwing horse poo at me with the next one: the Python. It does everything so well that just about every pilot is gonna be forced into one sooner or later. I'm no exception; I flew one for years as a core miner/mission runner. And I'm so damn sick of the thing. Every inch of that cockpit is burned into my retinas like I've had a penlight shoved into my eyeball; the thought of climbing back into another Python makes me want to go back and chase butterflies in Skyrim again.

Currently working on adding the Mamba to my 'go away, you useless dungheap of a ship' list. Not sick of it just yet. Soon, though.

I hear ya, and I'm exactly the same.

I used one for a good while and tried to like it, I really did. In fact I even like some things about it. It really is a very, very good ship. A great ship, even.

But that cockpit placement, nononononononono.

And that SRV hatch. Absolutely unforgiveable on both counts.

I still have one and I may even get it out at some point, but it is a love to hate ship.

Yeah man, how your in game role existence seems so miserable.
Either talk to your system physician about upping those meds again or reach for the self destruct button. 🤣😂🤣😜🤪
I'm from Dea Motrona. I write my own prescriptions. And you know as well as I do self destruct never works. Every time I see a Beluga stuck in the slot in front of me I try to end it all only to wake up in the same damn ship.

Quit makin fun of my FAS! She has feelings too you know.
I'll just go sit in my baby and cry now. Bunch of forum meanies
I haven't flown one of them since the Dropship was all alone in the lineup. And I quite liked the dropship back then. Granted, the meta was way different (no engineering) and NPCs would fly in straight lines or long slow loops.

I think I might give one of the federal siblings a try.

The FAS is one of the top 3 best combat ships in the game if you know how to use it and build it. I get that it's not for everyone but everyone should at least give it a try.

There are no ships like that for me. Usually I have a good enough reason in my eyes to fly or not to fly something :) There are some ships however that I use despite them having "better" alternative.

AspX without a doubt. Can't stand the thing, sounds like a fart when you boost and the cockpit hangs out like a boil on the end of an old hags nose.

Detest the loathsome things, kill them whenever I can...

I beg your pardon, mister?!

You want to tell me this cargo hauling, system jumping, star gazing, void exploring allrounder of a ship, a true marvel of modern technological wonder, can be considered as not good, even UGLY?!

With a canopy so spacious and clear, you can barely discern the point where the cockpit transitions into the darkness of space, surpassed only by its unmatched clarity of vast surroundings, giving sightseeing a whole new dimension.

Lines so sharp it cuts through space like a hot knife through warm butter, with just the right amount of curvature in the back making it ever so more pleasing to the observer.

A tough medium sized ship for any commander that dares to step into the unknown, with a reliable set of tools and modules to fit every need imaginable, enough cargo space for safe and quick commodity transportation to satisfied customers, price so low you feel like you're stealing from the ship dealer, and a big jump range with the ability to leave the most formidable assailant in a cloud of stardust.

With unmatched agility and maneuverability, giving you a feeling that one dare only describe as a passionate dance with starlight to the far reaches of the galaxy.

The AspX is the epitome of brilliant design, a beautifully crafted work of art and ingenuity that can perform any task thrown its way with such ease and grace one would never feel the need for another ship. It is a vessel every explorer can truly call home.

The AspX is by far the ugliest ship in the game. The drift is atrocious, the hardpoints are crap and the Phantom can do everything the Asp can except better in every way.

I sincerely wish you well, and hope the bandages come off soon. It's not easy living with a head injury, but we're all here for you!

Did I mention that the AspX was specifically made with a blockish design and sharp edges to counter any insults of verbal or written nature, and an impenetrable hull resistant to any form of negativity or bad thought that may wander its way.

Also, it has a defence mechanism that posts pictures of itself when attacked.
