Suspended Carrier Services Question

I currently have a shipyard and outfitting on my carrier as I'm transporting some Commanders to the bubble from Colonia. I'm going to deactivate the services on my return which, as I understand it will automatically transfer any ships and modules still stored by other players to the nearest starport.

But I want to use the carrier for the DSSA shortly, and for that I want to leave some ships and modules for both my main and alternate accounts on board, they both those accounts can use the carrier as a jumping off point for exploration in the future. There would be no point in keeping the shipyard and outfitting services operating all the time, and it's hugely expensive to do so.

So my question is this. If my carrier is out doing its DSSA stuff in the deep black, and I suspend the shipyard and outfitting services until I'm there next... what happens to the ships and stored modules for my alt account? Do they stay on the carrier?

Thanks all, as I can't find this information anywhere in official Frontier documentation.

Your alt is a separate account, so it is exactly the same as another player docking on the carrier.

Any Alt ships will be transferred to the nearest appropriate port in the admin system. You can only disable services in an admin system.

Any modules are handled by the outfitting service, same deal if you disable that service. Have a read of the codex too, it has a tonne of live stats and info on carrier operation.

If you -suspend- the service, these things get transferred?

I'm not sure about that. You can also suspend services anywhere, doesn't need to be an admin system.

Apologies, suspension is fine, deactivating will offload ships/services.

@Drelfar, yes true, the original topic was about removing the service completely. suspending services is fine, just locks out the alt modules and shipyard.

Ah right, so if you remove ship/outfitting from your carrier, all the (other players) ships/module get transferred immediately?

Didn't know that.
