Good place for bounty hunting? Nice vistas! [Federation]

I'm looking for a new place to do bounty hunting missions where you kill pirates in resource extraction zones.

Requirements:
-Short distances between station and star.
-Short distances between RES and star.
-Federation Space with four or more federation aligned factions that you can take missions from and go to the nearby systems RES sites.
-Good views!
-Low and Normal RES sites preferred, since I am a coward.

I found another thread about it where they recommended I Carinae. I am currently working around the Brani, Freng and Cupis area. There I am enjoying a very short distance to stations from stars and RES sites. I have been doing some minor exploration of the bubble, but have so far not found a more optimal bounty hunting area.

Can anyone recommend me some good places with nice views?

Try Wolf 562.

It's an amazing system with very good outfitting, missions and handy for useful engineers. They also do those insane long distance passenger missions to 36 Ophiochi (spelling) for major credits. Do be careful around its high gravity planets though, the last cmdr I recommended Wolf 562 to lost his ship on one...

And yes the RES is super close.

Not really considered if it's nice to look at, most systems kinda look the same to me now...

Okinura is nearby, that's a pretty system I guess with all its ELW's. It's home to the Earth Defense Fleet and if you become allied with them you'll have friends and good missions in a large radius due to their occupation of the most fed space in the galaxy...don't think there's a RES in Okinura though, and don't remember the outfitting being that great either...

Not yet, to be honest I'm kind of scared about traveling to places in Elite. I wonder if anyone else feels like me, but I like staying in the same kind of area.

traveling is fine as long as you’re not carrying cargo. Traveling is routine, in fact most of the game is just traveling...
Soon we’ll travel on legs to...

My knowledge of bounty hunting sites in the bubble is rusty, but it might be worth compromising on the distance from the star as around Colonia there are a few systems with a Haz RES in the same ring as a well equipped station. I would be amazed if the same wasn't true somewhere in Fed space in the bubble, so it might be worth looking for systems with stations orbiting gas giants and having a look to see if those rings also have a decent RES or two.

It's a bit of legwork up front, but once you've found your system, you only need move when you're bored of the view.

I use Chacocha a lot.

1) Res sites are in a ring around a high metal content world which is only about 30 ls from the star.
2) There is a coriolis station that sits inside the ring very close to the resource sites with very low travel time.
3) The station gives good trade missions once you level up with the factions there

The only problem is the factions there are either Empire affiliated or independent.

Alright, thanks for the tip. I'm looking mostly for Federation factions though, since I 65% away from Rear Admiral and the Corvette.
