Community Event / Creation Paladin Consortium Presents: Newbie Tuesday

Hi! I'm Dan deLion, a representative of the Paladin Consortium and we'd like to invite you to our Newbie Tuesday Events.

  • Do you feel like you're being picked on by more experienced PvP players?
  • Are you afraid of entering Open Play for fear of being attacked by a random pirate or serial killer?
  • Have you ever been in a situation where you've wished you were better at PvP?
  • Maybe you've successfully interdicted someone and been left confused as they've managed to run before you've even deployed your hardpoints?

Then this is the event for you!

Once a month starting this coming Tuesday the 13th of October at 19:00 UTC
Here we hope to teach the ”Art Of Survival” to all those interested in learning, covering topics such as:

  • How not to die
  • Best practice to counter Mass Lock
  • Interdiction Experience
  • Which loadout suits me best
  • Engineering for the Survivalist
  • How to shoot without getting shot (too badly)
  • And of course, the noble art of “Running Away”

Training is to be provided by Mike Metallic of the Warriors of Wyrd and will take place outside the famous “Big Pappas’ Base” in Andhrimi.

Join our Discord today at http://bit.ly/PalConDiscord and mention that you’d like to take part in the PvP training.

This message was brought to you by the events committee of the Paladin Consortium, Survival not guaranteed, Palcon are not responsible for any damages real, perceived or imagined to your ship, physical wellbeing, mental health or your credits balance,
Shenanigans and tomfoolery may follow, previous experience not required, events are subject to interest and community involvement

Added an entry to my subscribable calendar. As of now, I've just got the Oct 13th date down... is it going to be recurring on a certain Tuesday each month? If so, I'll change it to recur at the proper frequency.

Thanks Jack, the plan in its current form is to run it monthly on the second Tuesday.

We'll put a shout out for this in tonight's Hutton Orbital Radio Show - https://twitch.tv/huttonorbitaltruckers 19:30 UTC
