Hydrogen Bomb Canopener

My controller is broken, so I haven't been able to fly my ship. Started to wonder about what to do with my old stockpile of thermonuclear weapons from the hyperdrive era and came up with this. Think I'm going to call it the Can Opener. Thinking I should make sure that the arming sequence is keyed to the ejection system though.
For anyone confused, it's a bloody big FSD missile with a 300T thermonuclear shaped charge warhead. Hoping it'll be able to throw a 30T spike of depleted uranium at a decent fraction of the speed of light.

Yes, Imperial Security Service Officer. That commander, over there. No, I can't do an eyewitness report, I have... an important appointment, 20 lightyears away. Gotta go!

(Don't forget engineering. What experimental can Liz Ryder give to class 9 nuclear weapons?)

I potentially see a little flaw in your plan. There isn't a ship with a big enough size slot to fit it. Try a size 6, that might work.

Installed into the cargo bays. The DU spike should burst out of the front of the T7, without slowing down much. I don't plan to be sitting there when I light this candle.

Using h-bombs in their regular form has little/no effect in space sadly. Compared to solar wind, a thermonuclear blast is a mere gentle breeze on regular navigation shields. The shaped charge allows you to transmit the energy into kinetic and the ammount of energy available puts all current generation railguns to shame. What I've made here is a FSD guided cruise missile.
