Petition For Redress - To Her Most Exalted Imperial Majesty, Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval

I, Julian McCoy, Hero of HIP 13644, Defender of Diaguandri, Herald of Harpuligni, and upstanding businessperson with many esteemed Imperial connections, hereby lend this petition my full support. In doing so, I hope that it swiftly reaches the attention of Her Most Exalted Imperial Majesty, Emperor Arissa Lavigny-Duval, first of her name, Protector of the Peace, Shield of Justice, Fount of Mercy, Dispenser of Honour, Holder of the Scales of Truth, and Upholder of the Fourty Two Unbreakable laws, long may she reign that we may bask in her glory.
I share the sentiments of Cornelius Gendymion, son of Julius Gendymion of the Imperial colony Likopo, that only Her Most Exalted Imperial Majesty directly is able to moderate and hold accountable those responsible for the miscarriages of justice against nonviolent Citizens holding Marlinist ideals. I do not wish to find that the clientele of my Imperial business connections have been besieged without due process, as such will infringe on our transactions, and by extension the profit and prosperity of the entire Imperial business market.
I implore other interested individuals and parties to also present their support for this petition, as any upstanding Imperial Citizen should, in the interests of uniting all Citizens and increasing the already formidable strength of the Empire.
All must be allowed to prove and demonstrate their loyalty before persecution for their potentially conflicting lesser ideals and beliefs takes precedence over the tenure and strength of their service.

Although I am with the alliance I wish you luck with your petition! Ultimately trying to crush a rebellion in this fashion will rally more to their cause, and due to the overwhelming strength of the empire they will no doubt stick to guerrilla tactics. Also the tension rising between the empire and federation may lead to war if unchecked, which would undermine the agreement between the 3 major factions against the thargoids leaving humanity as a whole more vulnerable.

Look, I don't have pretty words like other Imperials, but I still have to say my piece. We know that your every day Marlinist isn't violent. In fact, they would be among the first to decry the actions of extremists. Thus, I don't understand why there's a purge goin' on when it's the terrorists you need to eliminate. The way Denton is going about things will only cause more suffering and pain to innocent people. Hell, is actions are creating more terrorists due to the utter lack of compassion shown to Imperial Citizens.
There's no honour in this, just disgrace.
Your Majesty, please, I know the political pressure you will face from the more hard-line members of the Senate, but you must step in and stop this witch hunt. Please, do not be silent like you were in previous Imperial and Galactic crisis. Denton is not the voice of the Emperor, I know this!
Last time, when I smelled something off and you were silent, I acted. This time, I will once again interpret your silence as an unspoken acknowledgement to act.

I, Thomas Konstantine, Optio of Lavigny's Legion, he who's without a long-455 list of cool titles, speaking only for myself as a CMDR of the Pilots' Federation, also support the above petition. The empire is more than capable of hunting down extremist groups and terrorists without trampling over honorable citizens, who may hold moderate Marlinist views, but fully subjugate themselves to the current order and law.

Reminds me of the fall of the original roman empire, to heavy handed with the peoples they incorporated leading to many small civil wars that bled the empire dry and left it vulnerable to its enemies.
