Release an enhanced version of Elite: Dangerous on PS5/Xbox Series X and implement Cross play

The title contains everything about the suggestion I wanted it to. Anything more would just be me trying to extol the merits of both, which is unnecessary.
Cross Play ?
Many modern games understand that playing on the gamepad is much more difficult than with the mouse and keyboard. And so there are special simplifications for playing gamepad.
As far as I know in Elite it's the opposite.
A vivid example of this is autocentrating the mouse, it helps a lot at FAOFF.

Thanks for commenting but I wasn't really looking for a discussion on why you personally think it's not a good idea. Regardless, the point is irrelevant, as Consoles now support mouse and keyboard as a control mechanism, in the same way that PC's also support controllers. Let's also pre-empt, and state that PC's offer many different resolutions, graphics settings and frame rates. Again, it's an imaginary barrier to Crossplay.

Ok, but what do you mean "enhanced version" for PS5? Something that will look different than any other version? That's probably rather unrealistic.
Best you can hope for is engine upgrade with Odyssey, but that probably will not be something that would be outside of what PS4 could handle.

A native 4k version with updated display settings would be nice. One that didn't run in backwards compatibility mode.

Yeah i am pretty excited Odyssey will be on PS4 it means I don't have to rush out for a PS5. Secondly i recently bought No Man's Sky because a friend has it. if i were to compare the two and then Assume what Odyssey has planed. This game is far beyond accurate and enhanced for how it is now in consideration to space travel. Hands down

One question, I think the translation was not accurate.
You write what can buy a mouse and keyboard, etc.
Why, then, why autocenter the mouse ? Let them buy a joystick.

I think there are too few gankers on the consoles once consider it not a problem.

Do a poll of console players then.
Been discussed to death.
Make it optional:
Solo.
PG.
Open.
Platform Full Open.

Give people a choice?

Then maybe you shouldn't have posted it on a "discussion forum" because discussions happen. For the subject, no FDEV aren't going to fork their code to support different versions on different platforms, the more similar each codeset is the easier it will be to update and bug fix so I can't see that happening.

Post your suggestions, feedback, and feature requests for the universe of Elite here!

If I was looking for a debate on the pros and cons, indeed I could've put it in the Dangerous Discussion thread.
