Those who got their second/third/fiftieth account - what's the plan?

Lol. Just paying one of the neighbouring systems outside the noob zone a visit. Swarmed by Harmless pilots. Don't even need to reset the account, busier here than in Deciat. Surprised there's not more ganking action as lots of Sidey's are queuing for a parking spot at the only outpost in the system.

Just got my 2nd account - lots and lots of new guys in the starter zone. I guess it's good for the game?
My alt has just joined my (very exclusive) squadron and will be exploring and stoking the (very exclusive\) squadron fleet carrier.

I have now exactly two members in my exclusive squadron - including my alt and myself. Popularity has never been the measure of quality.

QQ, i picked up the free Epic account, but to use it do I need to have a duplicate install of elite on my harddrive?? I was hoping I would only need to pass some key from Epic into Frontier to link up the additional account (in Frontier under 3rd Party, it would show Steam and Epic), and then when I run ED from Steam, I would have a choice on the ED launcher to choose which guy I want to fly??

I have been hesitant on the Epic install since it appears it wants to fully install the game. Plus I only fly ED in VR, so steam is a must.

Previously only had steam, got the free new epic accnt. Agree seems to be new full install, but works okay and what else have you got on your hard drive ? MB are cheap these days! On the plus side it does seem to share key bindings which is worth a lot imho, time is something we are are all running out of. Have such a custom set-up could not imagine having to go through all THAT again. DO IT and enjoy.

First I misread Bottom Hat’s post switching the ’G‘ for the ‘W‘ and somehow seeing an ‘R’ in front of the ‘I’ giving me, well you can work that out.😲

It's great but even if it didn't, copying the relevant files across is trivial.

But yeh. The extra 20gb required space is nothing really... Not when a lot of games these days take between 3x and 8x that space in one go.

Main account- doing so the events and stuff
Alt 1: looking for anomaly particles
Alt 2: Missions back home

I remembered I had an old Gmail account I used once to run two mobile games way back. So I've bitten the bullet and I'm downloading now...

Plans?

Mostly just to experience the new player district. I never tried it. Might do something different with it. Maybe only use a Sidewinder. Engineering in just a Sidewinder might be a tad pedestrian though :D
