Newcomer / Intro Did they remove crashed ship at HIP 17403?

I got there and did a 100% scan on A4A. Crash site doesnt show. There is only a tourist beacon in orbit.

Whats another good site to go for the Thargoid Sensor Fragments?

Thanks.

The scavengers on thargoid surface structures drop Sensor Fragments if you destroy them (using SRV). The scavngers drop Sensor Fragments 1 in 6 or so and they keep respawning. If you want to kill a lot of them take a Thargoid Sensor with you to open the structure (needs to be an active structure btw). Inside they are crawling with scavengers.

This sounds like the "POI not appearing after scanning a planet" bug.

Go into orbit and descend, and once you enter glide it'll appear on your contacts.

As for getting Sensor Fragments... just find a single probe/sensor, go to a Thargoid Structure site and shoot up all the links. 12 links x 2 fragments per link x 3 per pickup = 72 fragments per "instance load". Using HIP 17403 just sounds like another trash influencer's grind video.

I think its the bug. I just navigated using the -35 -141 co-ordinates from the internet and spotted a little greenish pixel about 30km out (conveniently its located in a big ole crater with a mountain in the center) and just flew there. Even when I am landed next to it, the damn POI doesnt appear in my NAV list. Probably bug as you said. Thanks.

Getting motion sickness from the bumpy SRV again....
