You’re certainly right, but no one should be considered as an idol, this is stupid.El Pibe was a God on the pitch, he is immort. His natural talent and genius on the field, as well as his charisma, are unmatched. Off the grass he was no saint, but who is?
Patrick you complain about the unseemly reaction to the death of Maradona, yet who jumped on the bandwagon and started this thread? You’re certainly right, but no one should be considered as an idol, this is stupid.

I do not see the link.Patrick you complain about the unseemly reaction to the death of Maradona, yet who jumped on the bandwagon and started this thread?
I feel it used to be the tradition to not speak ill of the dead, they can no longer defend themselves.I do not see the link.
I created this thread to pay tribute to a excellent player.
It is not because I find ridiculous 3 days of national mourning and the notion of idol among many people that I will prevent myself from creating this thread (that I created as soon as the death was announced and long before the excessive people's reactions in the World).
Maradona was a very good player . It was not God the father. No need to do of this man more than he really was.
A lot of people should keep their heads on their shoulders.

But I don't speak ill of the dead.I feel it used to be the tradition to not speak ill of the dead, they can no longer defend themselves.
I'm sure it's edifying for his family to be reminded of the flaws of the man, though I might suggest that they already know them, better than anyone else.
