I do not see the link.

I created this thread to pay tribute to a excellent player.

It is not because I find ridiculous 3 days of national mourning and the notion of idol among many people that I will prevent myself from creating this thread (that I created as soon as the death was announced and long before the excessive people's reactions in the World).

Maradona was a very good player . It was not God the father. No need to do of this man more than he really was.

A lot of people should keep their heads on their shoulders.

I feel it used to be the tradition to not speak ill of the dead, they can no longer defend themselves.

I'm sure it's edifying for his family to be reminded of the flaws of the man, though I might suggest that they already know them, better than anyone else.

But I don't speak ill of the dead.

I speak of idolatry, and concerning the man himself I recognize these qualities and also his faults to emphasize that he is not a God.

I won't say, because he died, that he was a perfect man.
