One-Way trip to SagA*? Where do I sign?!

UPDATED 22 Nov 3306 (1)

Greetings, CMDRs.

The carrier Ziggurat Vertigo will be departing the Bubble on Saturday, Nov 28, 3306, at 17:00 in-game time, and proceed with all haste to SagA* (the Center), Explorer's Anchorage, and then for a 3-week expedition to the Phroi Pri/Pra Sectors, after which it will travel to the Arcadian Stream and the DSSA Callisto for the Christmas holidays. Exploration and mining ops, if available, will take place at all major stops. Scheduled arrival at SagA* will be on Nov 30 if all goes well.

After a short layover and real-life availability considerations, the carrier will then travel to the Phroi Pri/Pra sectors and deploy for several weeks.

Guests are more than welcome to join, and may jump off to continue solo or with other carriers as they wish. Again note this is a ONE WAY journey. The Ziggurat Vertigo is not expected to return to the Bubble until well into 3307. Guest Commanders should make appropriate arrangements depending on their travel intentions. For new CMDRs this means bringing at least a ship outfitted for range (30-40ly minimum), with A-rated fuel scoop and AFMU for neutron highway repairs. Low-range mining ships will need to be transferred to other carriers or shipped at the owner's expense back to the point of origin if not staying aboard Zigg Vert for the entire journey. Mining ships will require prospector and collector controllers, refinery, mining lasers, and SSD and Core mining tools if desired.

Ziggurat Vertigo will purchase some Painite, LTDs, and VOs at reasonable rates, and will have a standing buy order for Tritium fuel at all times. Any donated Tritium would also be appreciated.

(1) Please note that this is a peaceful operation that perhaps can lead to new friendships in the game. All participants are encouraged to operate in Open to facilitate this, but Fleetcom, Mobius, or other PG modes are fine. Regardless, any actions taken that result in the deliberate damage or destruction of another guest's ship or the carrier, as well as bullying or harassment, will result in detainment of the offending party, impoundment of all ships, and subsequent turning over to the first available system authorities for full prosecution under Galactic Law.

Any interested participants please leave a message below or on the discord. Please include where you intend to jump off if not staying aboard for the whole trip. Opportunities for shorter distance travel to Colonia, Beagle Point, and the northern reaches of the Milky Way are plentiful along the projected route. Further updates will be posted here and on the Discord channel linked below.

Departure system will be BD-22 3573 on Saturday, November 28, 3306, at 17:00hrs in-game time.

Please count me in. I've just returned from a six month trip into the formodyne rift on the Asp Explorer Paladin. What are your requirements other than those stated and showing up? I may stay on for the entire trip and just explore around wherever you happen to be. No worries. O7

No requirements. You're free to come and go as you please, just be aware that I intend to make all speed to SagA* and won't be stopping much except for sleep breaks or if something truly astounding catches our eye along the route. The carrier will lay over for a day around SagA*, then head to the Phroi Pri/Pra sectors for several weeks of exploration. Then it's on to the DSSA Callisto in the Arcadian Steam for the holidays.

Welcome aboard!

Good morning, CMDRs. Jumping will be resuming shortly. Today we will begin to see real increases in starfield density, as we pass into the Gria Hypue sector along the northern edge of the Norma Expanse and enter the Norma Arm.

And here we are. No parking at SagA*, so we're at Explorer's Anchorage for now. I will move over if a spot becomes available. Thanks to everyone who's been with me thus far. For anyone continuing with the carrier to the Phroi Pri/Pra sectors, we will depart in a day or two. I will post exact details here and in the discord. SagA* is nearby for anyone who wants to jump over. Please note that Explorer's Anchorage is a close-binary system, so watch that when jumping back in. Fly safely, everyone!

🤦‍♀️
well done, frontier ... 😂
Doesn't seem like there's that many carriers over there, but maybe they put a smaller limit on it to prevent it from getting overcrowded. Certainly some other systems cough*Diaguandri*cough could use a similar touch

Hello, commanders. The Ziggurat Vertigo will depart Explorer's Anchorage tomorrow at 14:00 GMT for the Phroi Pra sector. Disappointed that there were no parking spots at SagA* these last couple days, but will try again before we leave for the Callisto in Arcadian Stream in a few weeks.

Deployed in Phroi Pra JC-V f2-1486 until Dec 20th, or until something more interesting/useful pops up in the sector, such as a tritium overlap. On the 20th, will depart for the Arcadian Stream, passing through SagA*/XA en-route, to rendezvous with the DSSA Callisto for the holidays. Exploration of local sectors now commencing.

The carrier will be departing for SagA*/XA on the 20th December. After a short layover, it will continue on to the DSSA Callisto in the Arcadian Stream for holiday celebrations and hijinks. All are welcome to join in the festivities and explore the Arcadian Stream.
