I was under the impression the first pre-orders would be delivered at the same time since they new how many they were allocated. But it was probably what I’d taken them to say rather than what they did.

Either way I’m not annoyed with Systemactive. It’s HP that seems to be messing them around. I think they thought they were expecting them to be dispatched on the 2nd and now that’s the 13th lol.

Oh well I’ll just have to try an be patient.

Good news finally from Systemactive for early UK pre-orders...
The first batch of pre-orders for the UK has finally started to roll out of the factory. We have confirmation from HP that the first shipment has left the factory and will be in the UK for Thursday 26th November.

There are enough units in this first shipment to supply all pre-orders that were placed with us in July.

We will be getting weekly updates from HP about future shipments of the first batch and will communicate these to you as soon as we get them.

So, for those who pre-ordered in July, we expect you to receive these units on Monday, 30th November.

Thanks for posting this. For some reason Gmail has started shoving emails from them into ‘promotions’ so I didn’t know I had an email from them.

I was initially all disappointed because I didn’t think I’d ordered in July but checked and the order was on July 29th. YAY!! 😁

This slight delay has one advantage, it gives me more time to choose a new graphics card. My Vega 56 won't be able to get the best out of the G2, so an upgrade is required.

I've got to say Systemactive have been great in keeping us informed. Well done them. (y)

Not sure if anyone here has a WMR running with Elite already but I currently play elite from the Frontier launcher (not from steam). Will I be able to carry on like I do with my Rift and WMR automatically detect a 3rd party app or am I going to have to get a steam key to run it from steam VR instead?

Never mind, I could find anything then as soon as I continued searching after posting found this: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/playing-ed-on-wmr-headset-without-steam.517948/

Just need to enable a setting in Steam VR that makes it run if it detects a VR application. No need for a steam key 👍

My G2 unit it looses the screens if the volume is turned up too loud, If you have this issue of screens going black, you should be able to turn down the volume until it becomess playable. MY G2 unit is not the only 1 with this issue. Mine cant be recognized by the USB C and I had to use the USB 2 adapter. I have a lot of USB plugged in my PC so not sure if that has anything to ddo with it, you have to usse the power brick with the usb 2 adapter.

Other than that the headset is awsume.

I’m still waiting for mine but I’ve read that you have to use the power brick not matter if you have a USB C or not.

yep got mine the other day also man it looks good got index knuckles controllers working with it also.

Problems I have noticed are
#1- constantly having to do room setup for steam VR.
#2- very high GPU usage at idle sitting at 32% while typing this out of VR nothing running in vr
#3- the Clip that's been reported as to easy to break .... well 1 tug on the cable snapped it in two

headset tracking and I mean the headset location itself twigs out some times

but over all I am happy with it so far but they need to work on the tracking and this need to do a room setup all the time

someone said something about LED lighting that may be the cause of the tracking got to test that also

Another SystemActive email today for UK people that ordered...

We had our update meeting with HP this morning and we are passing on this information as promised.

We were inundated with calls and emails following last weeks update. Quite rightly customers were requesting delivery expectation for those who pre-ordered August onwards.

It is with great pleasure we can announce much better news than we anticipated. So here goes:
Those that pre-ordered by 31st July will receive their orders on Tuesday 1st December (Really sorry guys this has slipped another day!)
Those that pre-ordered between 1st August and 30th October will receive their orders by Thursday 10th December

We will follow up with another update for those who pre-ordered after October 30 as soon as we hear more from HP.

Well it’s supposed be the big day in the U.K. but I’ve still not had a text with my tracking number yet? Anyone in the U.K. got their tracking number? Not looking good 🙁

Edit: I emailed them and they got straight back the my tracking number. It’s out for delivery 😁👍

Well I haven't had an email either, but it's good to see yours is on it's way. Have they given you a time slot?

It’s parcel force and just says between 07:00 and 18:00. I’m almost certainly going to be out but the depot isn’t far from me so I’ll probably have to collect it tomorrow.

Thanks for that. I'll be in all day if it turns up. Bit busy decorating though and don't want to get paint all over it. 😉
