I haven't used bookmarks since they were introduced years ago... I ran out.

I could probably thin them out a bit but navigating them is horrendous

until than i work with renaming them, either by numbers (for routes ... 0010 [SYSTEM], 0020 [SYSTEM] ...) or with abbreviations, like MNG (for all mining locations).

2. Mat’s traders
3. Good raw mat’s locations
4. Can’t remember!

I find that small bits of kitten pelt pinned to a corkboard with system names scribbled on them in permanent marker make excellent bookmark substitutes ... at least until we get some decent improvements to the in-game ones (such as individually coloured and named folders).

I use the prefix system as well. MINING, MATS, MATS TRDR, CRASH site, DAV's, JAMESON, GRDN MDLE, GRDN ob, etc. But yeah don't bookmark everything, just the most useful things.

I’ve tried to bookmark Commander Jameson’s maternal mother’s resting place who passed away from terminal obesity.
Sadly the bookmark system struggled to cope with Capital Ship that uses the mass of her corpse as a quantum singularity engine.

I also use a prefix system, it helps to remind me why I bookmarked something.

I love when you click "edit" on your bookmarks for the first time and a realize that nope, it's not for adding NOTES to the bookmark but just for changing it's name/title...

This is how to get by, until a better system arrives.

Personally, I just stick proper prefixes to everything.

Bu = Bubble
Co = Colonia

Then I have things like:-
[Bu Eng] Farseer Base
[Bu Mat Tra] Ohm City
[Bu IFac] Wohler Landing
[Bu Mat] Dav's Hope
[Co CNB] Tenjin

Etc.

Works okay, although a better system would be better.
