Payout for Assassinate Known Pirate is... PERFECT

It makes me want to do these know... 4 to 5 million for taking on a Elite Corvette, works well considering travel etc. particularly when 3 of them jump in on you in the same fight.

The wing version is a good deal harder though unless you like longer protracted fights for the money. Ill stick with the basic ones.

well done

Are you sure?

Passenger missions and deep core mining are 100M/h and 75M/hour in a Python with very little risk.

5M for travelling to a location to fight an Elite, engineered Corvette? That requires more than a stock Python and to make even 75M/hour you'd need to complete 25 of them every hour.

IMO it's a mild improvement but still needs to be doubled at least just to break even, and that's only if you ignore the added risk or the tougher ship and engineering requirements.

5 million for mission average... seeing 6 million and 4 million
1 million + for bounty
Tack on a massacre mission which adds another 1 million+ per ship...
Tack on one wing massacre mission as well for same faction 1 million again

8 million a kill x 12 an hour = 96 mil

if you're going to measure credits an hour you also need to factor in travel time and mission-board time. If you can actually make 96 million an hour then I'll be very surprised. My guess is that you might make 50/hour in a lucky hour. The average will be lower than that.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the increase to bounties and assassination missions, but it's still well below the pay of less risky, and more-accessible careers.

Agreed. It's nowhere near the level it should be. Wing assasination missions should also get a serious buff considering you are fighting a wing of superengineered blokes.

I see so many posts about making so much an hour, are you guys even having fun, it sounds like a job to me instead of a game?
Is this the way you guys play the game?
Just a genuine question, no mockery intended at all.

I've never realy cared about the credits but only do those things that are fun to me, and yet I've got 25+ ships all engineered, including the big ones and still have a couple billion in the bank.
I have played for over 3000 hours though.

I think the credit earning rebalance is a good thing but it doesn't realy effect my personal gameplay or the fun that I have.

I do not care about getting more credits
But Balance does matter to me
I just does not make sense risk is not rewarded.... purely a emersion breaker.

Some people like playing games in pure sandbox mode... everything is free, you get it all right away... most of those people quit the game days later and are off to the next game

Risk and reward just adds realism imho

I like pvp. And pvp costs money. Rebuy money. Especially if you are trying out new ships/new builds and die alot.

I will agree with you that the Base bounties on the high end ships should be a bit higher 4x is just not enough

Let's not get carried away here. Why not do combat and have it pay well also? Don't get complacent.

Because i play the game to enjoy it..not to work out how much blah blah per second i am earning? I have a day job, i dont want to continue working at home in my personal time?

Yup, really liking where the payouts are now. Some numbers can always be increased/tweaked a little more

Most* of the time I can log on and straight away pick up one 20-30mill reward Massacre Pirates mission from each of the 5 non-pirate faction in my system. Then 1-2 4-5mill reward Assassination missions from most of them.
Then out to hunt in the hazres. On the way there I get tackled by the mission vettes, usually 2-3 together. and then a few spawned because of my other missions. So before I get to the hazres I'm 10-15 targets down.
kill the rest of the 15ish targets in the hazres.

land back home 150-200mill (incl bounties) richer within the hour*/**.

*most of the time
**ish

You just defeated your own argument. Having the activities you like pay more means you won't have to "work" it like a second job.

Made about 65 million for the hour I played yesterday. Massacre missions + in system bounty missions + bounty on kills.
A good mission board can get you stacked up with faction massacre missions and bounty missions in a system. A lot of the time several missions will share the required kill allowing you to complete multiple missions from the same enemies.
I'm also noticing larger "warrant bounties" payouts recently, and those really add up from massacres.

not all the game is about credit /h ... combat is fun thrilling ect.

Oh and best way to credit atm is mission trade with around 250mil/h or even moar. o7

Edit oh and yeah OP i agree it seem really more balanced to me to =)

Minimum should be 0.5 million for a harmless sidewinder.

Should scale up to 50 million for the most powerful monster ship out there with a wing of smaller still powerful ships.

It's an assasination
