Sirius Atmos is planning to terraform ammonia worlds... but AWs are almost always 50+K colder than ELWs and well out of the terraformable range, so being able to make these habitable signifies a massive technological leap in the ED universe. I wonder if this’ll have any other implications?

There may be barter - exchanging shiny beads & other worthless stuff for items of incredible value... You know, the standard Human way when dealing with what they consider lesser species.

Like was pointed out, Terra in Terraform means earthlike. It would have a different name for making a world for Thargoids. Tharaform? I don't know.

I'm hoping they'll take Biowaste or Imperial Slaves (for bioweapons research, or some other mundane purpose) in exchange for some worthless (to them) commodity I can trade for a hefty profit back in the Bubble.

If I know my Elite, it's gonna be barter with harvested space pumpkin snot, bark mound trimmings and pi, rho, sigma and tau pylon scans.
