one-way paths

Yes, it's every unfortunate that guest flow in paths and clogging of paths is one of the main challenge in this game. But we have almost no tools to direct the guest traffic, besides making the paths wider.

We need vista points to pull guest to locations (I hope this can be done with the educators) and one way paths. Having the option to set a recommended tour through the zoo, like many real zoos do, would be nice.

As the staff path exists, the one-way path may exist in a new tab. Direction ? from start point to end point with the mouse draw the path.
Path in grid ? the path have a direction, and with Z key you can rotate the direction.

To me, that would be the best option. Something very familiar in RL zoos.

One-way paths, not sure about this one. Using already existing features from PZ (vista points) or a recommended route/tour would be my preference

It doesn't has to be either vista points/ tour or one-way paths. They are different tools for different purposes. The former is used to affect guest flow, but the guests should not follow it like on rails. One way paths are used to control guest flows in choke points where wide paths look weird. Like when you do an acryl tunnel through an aquarium/pool or a jungle trail . It's often used by real zoos in walk through habitat, like the refitted old monkey and bird house in Amsterdam

I don't mind other options as well. The general idea is to guide your visitors in your zoo. Like the route/map in RL zoos, they want you to take this route so you can enjoy everything they have to offer. Which is not a bad idea for a zoo game as well.

Hello, thank you for your suggestion! I've spoken to the team about this - we have no plans to add in one-way paths. Please continue to share your suggestions with us, and we'll keep looking at what's possible :)
I think it's great you took the time to reply to this. I hope that this decision is re-considered in the future.
What about a sign (like the do not disturb/do not feed) or other object (invisible archway?) where guests would approach it and would only continue walking along the path if the "entry" side was displayed.
We've all built exhibit halls, viewing areas etc. that would benefit from one way.

Would be super useful but I think actual 1-way paths might be difficult to implement with the guests’ path funding (although I’m just guessing). An alternative might be a 1-way gate or something, although that might have same issues - hard to know without really knowing how guest path finding is implemented in the code.

I thought that too which is why I was thinking an archway (or gate as you said) could work. Preferably something invisible so that it doesn't impact on the other scenery in your zoo. Something like a sign might have too big a radius and make it difficult but I figured they are already used to influence guest behaviour.
