GALNET - 07 DEC 3306 - Lakon Spaceways Discounts Selected Ships

so - how are prices in jameson or LYR space affected?

would it be a sensible thing to buy a new mining AspS hull and two new DBS hulls (surface exploration and runaround) to get my transfer costs down? do i have the time to build a new AspS to get better with railguns? or a DBS? or both?

is this the time to finally get a t7 for rescueing people from burning stations - something i do in a python because i always miss the point to build a t7 in advance?

this galnet post is stressing me out! well played FDEV!

No. No, it would not. ;)

Mining Keelback, surely?
no, i actually started core mining in an AspS - as the AspE i used to check out the mechanics first was too sluggish for me in the beginning. i stayed with it for short core mining runs. 48t of cargo for a short run, cheap to transfer, good jumprange (more important pre FC), class 4 power distributor. as soon as the PWA works again for me, I'll use it again. and i'm eying an AspS for railgujn training ... that powerdistributor, that turnrate...

Yeeeee. \o/
Now i can re-form my Fleet of Mules (or is it my Mule Fleet?) that i keep for Module Storage
There is no ships better for that than T10, T9 and with the occasional AspX for mining lance stowage :)

Those Scouts and T-10s are going to be flying off those shelves!

All six of them :D

In the T-10’s case it’ll be less “flying” and more of a hobble..

I’ll probably get one or two for storage space anyways..

Edit: Here’s an idea! If they want to make some quick $$, Lakon should release some bare-bones T-10s, maximized for internal space and hard points. No need to worry about if it actually works, sell it cheap to CMDRs for extra storage space for equipment. I bet they’d make a killing.

Well if they thought about releasing some discounted paint jobs too those Lakon shareholders would be very happy.

Despite having hardly any paint jobs the DBS is still one of the greatest ships in the game and the Keelback is a real contender for the most utilitarian.

Fight me.

I've owned almost every ship in the game but never had a keelback. Might buy one just to try it out as a prisoner transport ship or a space truck. Of course my first real space truck was a type6 and I sold that years ago, had fun in it but moved on when I could afford a python. I don't care about the discount, I've just never considered a keelback, I forget about some ships and this thread sparked my memory.
