300 Million credits an hour in Taygeta system

Delivery Missions
The increase in minable commodity prices has had an unexpectedly large effect on delivery missions due to compounding multipliers, allowing large numbers of credits to be earned with minimal risk and effort. To re-focus the earnings on the effort made, the rewards for these have been changed so that the distance travelled and quantity transported has a larger effect on the pay. Payouts remain relatively high and will be monitored for any further necessary adjustments.

Thank you as always for your replies and insights. Your feedback continues to be invaluable and will drive the further changes in the new year. In the meantime, let us know what you think about the adjustments above!

Nerf bat engaged.
Thankfully got my Carrier yesterday. Still got a few billion in the bank as well. And the carrier can look after itself for a year.

Bubble delivery missons seem to have become relatively 'worthless'.
I guess the change affects all - usual knee jerk, sledge hammer to crack a nut FD ?
Or is this part of the balancing ED previously referred to.

I don't think you can really blame the OP.

I was there at the weekend before this thread came out and over 8000 ships had passed through in the previous 24 hours.

And then there's the hyperdictions. Have to say I'd prefer to just do Boom Times in an extraction system somewhere not everyone is and still make loads of credits.

I'm glad you posted this though. I had a quick look at the two systems and they're really interesting (and I'd never been hyperdicted before). Titan's Daughter is stunning and Cavalieri is my first Quad Hammer of Death Coriolis.

This is what I love about this game. I think the quirks of the BGS and the variety of the Stellar Forge just make it so much more alive than many other open world RPGs.
Yes - haven't been back in a while; I'm there now. Just got whacked by a Noob-Hammer coming out of SC and on return chose the wrong side of the Ring to fly to Titan's Daughter - had to fly through. Lovely stuff!
The money's great, but this is a really nice region to hang around in.
'Goids seem to like it too. 😁

On past evidence, I am not sure they even want players ;)
Certainly not happy ones.
Well they are pleasing the 5-10 ones that always wanted the game on that slow, boring and grindy gameplay... and this seems to be what they want to do.
PS: They nerfed the data delivery missions too, and INCREASED the cargo the delivery missions require to haul too...
...

I'm applying to the Bank of Zaonce to see if they can provide me with a loan for a Fleet carrier on easy credit terms. I have a substantial deposit.

This entire game runs according to tick anyway.

Well done OP, they've nerfed this into the ground so hard it's worse than it was before the balancing started.
You don't think Frontier were monitoring this.
A few players making the most of it, Frontier seems to be OK with.
Then a sudden influx of carriers over the last week to Taygeta and Electra. User accounts suddenly jumping by a billion credits per day. This has been going on since the mining balance pass.
Fortunately most of us kept quiet and carried on until last week when the cat got out of the bag.

Thing is once your Elite, making credits should be easy.
Technically your supposed to be the best and should get paid for your services.

In the beginning it worked like that. Mission payouts were weighted based on rank. But mining made a complete mockery of Trade rank, Thargoid scouts made a mockery of Combat rank and Robigo passenger missions made a mockery of Exploration rank.

Only solution is to make all credit earnings based on CQC :)

Honestly they are really d*mb and easly baited to posts like this one.
Not long time ago another CM got baited on a post claiming Zilion Credits/H and nerfed the thing to the ground widouth even checking if the OP claims are real.
Like this one, 300MI/H are really really out of the reallity.

anyway low risk high money missions were a fatal error...it was too easy to be true. the npc interdictions are easy to dodge,or just submit and kill the pirate and deliver ur hundreds million missions. ... if there was significant risk of running high payout missions the nerf bat would not happen. now fdevs can just delete cargo delivery missions because they pay 100-400k now, they are worth notthing now.
