Aquatic pack two

ok so if frontier does a second aquatic pack here are the snimals i wish to see
1. leapord seal these would be the only seals that hunt penquins so they would have to be kept seperate from any penquins

2. walrus like duh how are these not in yet there waluruses for goodness sake

3. Adelie penquin a smaller more fiesty penquin breed that i would love to see

4. finaly the sea otter who would have spechial anymations for sleep swiming and carring there young on there stomach

These are fantastic choices, honestly. Love all four of these animals. <3

But for the sake of more opportunities, I’d do it like this:

Sea Otter
Elephant Seal
Leopard Seal or Manatee
Humboldt Penguin

Then the California Sea Lion in the NA pack, and the Walrus in the Europe pack. If such packs will exist.

Then we’d have all the species we’d need to make really fleshed-out marine sections.

I don't think there are any Adelie penguins in captivity. IMO these choices seem a bit random. Of this list the only two I'd take without thinking would be the walrus and the sea otter. Beyond that, I think there are more obvious animals missing from the Aquatic roster - the California or Steller's sea lion, the Humboldt or Magellanic or African penguin, the southern rockhopper penguin, even the American beaver or American alligator would be nice inclusions.

Can't say I'd be super excited for another pack consisting of a seal, penguin, and otter even if the three species we got weren't my first choice for any of them. The walrus is a solid pick, but I'd also strongly prefer a sea lion and am dubious that we'd get two pinnipeds in a single release. Personally I'd go with a California sea lion, Humboldt penguin, American beaver, and some sort of pelican for a followup aquatic pack.

At least a Zoo in Madrid is keeping them

I would also prefer a not Antarctic Penguin Species as a second one, now that we have the King Penguin

leapord seal
I was told leopard seal is not a normal zoo animal, only when they rescue one and they can't release it back to the wild.

Something like this would work for me.

Dont't like the idea of a part 2. When a certain theme already had a DLC, i'd prefer future DLC to not have the same theme.

I think I saw once on Zootierliste.de that some Zoo in Germany had them in the Past. But I think really only one. So at least while looking at EAZA Zoos I can say that they are way too rare in Captivity. Don't know what it's like in Zoos that aren't Part of EAZA

I would love a second aquatic pack

1. Cape Fur Seal
2. Cape Penguin (make some cool African coast habitats)
3. Platypus
4. Manatee
5. Beaver
6. The box animal could add fish finally (lung fish, arapaima, paddlefish, red bellied pirannha)

I'm at a point where I hope modders will figure out how to do new animals without overwriting existing. I'm totally not "satisfied" (as in "it's enough") with one otter species, one pengin species and one seal species. I desperately need my asian small clawed otters, harbour seals and humboldt penguins and I doubt we will get any of these, nor the ones Darkdino mentioned (except the walruss).

Don't want to crush your hopes, but modded animals and/or UGC won't happen. Not until there will be an equivalent to the PlanCo TMTK tool.
And if that will ever be implemented in PZ, it wouldn't be any time soon. I could be wrong, but so far there is no indication to the contrary.
They might add more Varieties and Species with a general content pack in the future, who knows.

cheers :)

I can wait if I need to :) And as far as I know, the modders are making good progress, so I won't give my hope up yet.
Of course also not for (preferable) official animals.

1. California Sea Lion. It's a very charismatic, active animal and common in captivity.
2. Walrus. Yeah it's unlikely we'd get two pinnipeds in the same pack but the walrus looks and behaves unique enough.
3. African/Humboldt's Penguin. Smaller penguins are very widespread in zoos, and these two in particular are threatened so there is a bonus for conservation.
4. American Alligator.

sorry if the picks seemed ramdom they were just some of my favrioute semi aquatic creatures and didn't have time to put swaps in

Basically they only turn up as rescues in Australia as @NL_Mutso said. Taronga Zoo have definitely had them in the recent past but there aren't any at the moment. I think they would be a bad choice for the game for this reason.

😅 Well, I would consider myself a modder, too, for PlanCo and other games as well.
The Cobra Engine has a dedicated file format for its content, that's not accessible to anyone,
but the artists and devs at Frontier.
So, unless Frontier provides a tool like the TMTK modding just WON'T happen on PZ, no matter who says differently.
There is no way to emulate the file format, not to mention it could amount to Reverse Engineering and that's against their terms.
We'll have to wait for FDev to provide us with a tool that allows us to implement content in the game, and once that would happen,
i'd sure make loads of new content. Until then, i'd rather keep my hopes up for an official Animal DLC.
Maybe they will do something like that after the theme packs are all rolled out.

cheers,
ArtificialArtist

I would like to see the following animals in the game:

  1. Elephant seal / Leopard seal
  2. Beluga whale
  3. Killer whale
  4. Bottlenose dolphin
  5. West Indian manatee

Are harp seals kept in zoos? Because that's the second seal I'd want. I know the grey seals pups are cute but they've got nothing on the harp seal pups
