CG predictions...

Signs point towards a "Fed-off" but who knows?

SS1 may just be a reason for Hudson's popularity to be down - giving Winters an "in". Nothing has really come of SS1 so far other than Hudson's reputation being damaged. Doubt he'll be directly implicated, but tarnished by association. Winters brought the Marlinists into the fold so the outcome of that story may decide how she fares against a damaged ZH in the coming weeks. NMLA keep blowing stuff up: people turn against the Liberals. NMLA calm down: people's focus returns to SS1 and ZH being a bad guy - or at least friends with a(n alleged) bad guy...

Very few types of CG we haven't had so could be a relog-fest salvage one or maybe could go back to a haulage (testing new commodity values in a CG setting) or combat (likewise for pew-pews). Might even be something completely new - or a twist on the traditional (like the current one).

My guess would be the AXCZ comes later when we've riled up the 'goids for another week or so.
It was my understanding that Hudson and Winters/Republicans and Liberals are currently on equal footing as the former's popularity rised again after terrorists were found between the refugees and the NMLA blew up Kepler Orbital in retaliation, somewhat negating the latter's gains b/c of the Starship One revelations?

That was my understanding, in that Winters initially got points for taking in poor refugees, and Hudson scored points when some of those poor refugees started blowing things up.

I'm not really sure if its suitable CG material though, as what could be used to express this struggle? It seems more of a story driven aspect reacting to outside events. So, if more terrorism occurs, Hudsons POV prevails, if the CGs help stop more bombs going off (maybe by scanning stations or megaships, playing detective) Winters POV prevails instead.

Given that GalNet article was a wee while ago, it may be difficult to judge the prevailing mood of the fedneck general populace WRT ZH vs FW. Also - given the population of 1,944,378,037,821 (probably old number from Elite Wiki, but likely something of that magnitude) who knows whether enough of them actually care enough to express an opinion given their presumed drone-like lives of corporate drudgery. Plus there will likely be those whose opinions on their chosen leader won't change despite innumerable facts to the contrary.

I'd assume that the two factions are locked in a see-saw popularity struggle with the lead changing daily based on who has had the latest word viral soundbite.

Who knows? GalNet - but they ain't saying yet.

Looks like a megaship moved away from Coalsack Sector VU-O b6-6 (the TFD-013, not a standard a megaship, it was an attacked one).

Probably a mining CG incoming at Coalsack?

Edit: checked, its already there...

Checking the galmap - Spirit of Nysa is gone. Was it still there during this past CG? I wish I still had it bookmarked to see how that would work.

Edit - I remembered that wrong. Spirit of Nysa has always been on PJ-P B6-1.

If you create a squadron aligned to its previous owner, you might see... if it still exists. (Alliance expeditionary pact)

Anyone left any modules on it?

(I don't think that would actually help find it - until I recently moved them to my carrier, I used to have a bunch of modules stored in the "Eol Prou LW-L c8-76" system, which was renamed years ago. You'd probably just get an entry for the system as usual)

Or they got shipped to betancourt?

A high amount of long range deliveries for 10M-20M available at Betancourt. Would be nice if its not a temporary thing.

CG didn't hit the top tier:

The usual push for completion as it did get quite close. Could well also be people waiting to hand in at the last minute, as it was that kind of CG. Most surprising thing (to me) is that the hourly submissions continues to follow the usual daily cycle - could have seen a larger part just collecting until the end, but no - people seem to like delivering smaller increments.

I wonder what fdev will learn from the CG - the wording and functionality seemed to confuse more than usual. But there was good participation - 10k players, will they ignore the confused few?

Now ... what will they do this week? 🤔

With 830k reports handed in, maybe around 270k ammonia worlds will become ELW, and Thargoids will go ape XD

Ps. Got top 75% today :D

There were no 10K players. 10K accounts registered to the CG, but definitely not 10K players. Some made this CG even with 3 accounts in wing to get that special DSS.

Well, I agree with that part at least :D My prediction would be next week? Then AX CZ set to max difficulty in the hope of lasting through the holidays. Though with only 3 attackable stations that would be quite a feat.

Which is not attackable from the four? The asteroid one? Or the one with the noobhammers?

Try for a higher confusion rate.
