Cool, but how does this work on Steam? Do I need to link my Steam account on the Frontier Store again like with Horizons or something or get an access code?
Wait, "exclusive?" It's just cosmetic, right? Not eager for another Cobra Mk IV... But I digress.
It's described as a skin. At no time have I ever seen a game that had a skin that had anything other than a cosmetic impact (I mean, midnight black sort of used to help reduce visibility but that's about it). So unless Fdev have decided that they should change the term "skin" to something other than the one that's been used in the gaming industry since Quake, I think it's really safe to assume that it's just a skin. Because that's what it's being called. A skin.Wait, "exclusive?" It's just cosmetic, right? Not eager for another Cobra Mk IV... But I digress.
So not listing on Steam? I play the game through Steam and Horizons was added in on there for me after the 2015 LEP by linking my accounts back then. I removed the link since then since I only bought cosmetics through the Frontier Store, not that it necessarily mattered, but wishful thinking and all that. I think it's fair that Steam got a cut for the game itself, since that's where I found the game. Cosmetics though, not quite so much. It'll just work on your frontier account.
Fair enough. It's the first I'd heard of it, so was just asking. The post before mine called it a "suit."It's described as a skin. I understand that some of us here haven't got a lot of experience with FPS games (where I guess the term is used more commonly than the simulation genre?) but all you have to do is replace the word "skin" with "paint job" and suddenly it becomes very unambiguous. A skin is a cosmetic texture/model for an avatar. Much like the Azure paint jobs we just got exclusively.

You left out I also asked about the exclusivity of the suit skin, and others asked how it looks at all.I know
It's that exact reason I was spamming the thread making sure that point was made really obvious. It's only misleading if you remove an entire noun from the description.

I think it's worthy of being pointed out that one differs very strongly from the other![]()
Those were both really good questions thoughYou left out I also asked about the exclusivity of the suit skin, and others asked how it looks at all.
I'm certain the communication and customer information could be a little bit better![]()
