Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

Says he isn't saying CP is just as bad as SC then says CP is just as bad as SC.
Saying that there are similar bugs in the two games is not the same that saying that their frequency is the same.

Fact 1 : CP77 has far less bugs than SC.
Fact 2 : CP also show us the same bugs than SC.
Fact 3 : you are lying about me.

All of these issues previously bandied around by the gaming media were fixed in the patched before release version of CP '77 though... and since Steam recorded the record highest number of concurrent players in one evening...over 1,000,000 all playing CP '77 (and that's only on Steam) I suspect t'interweb would have been on fire by now if it had been a buggy mess...
Steam rate it with a poor 76%. When you read why so low in comment, the main reason is bugs.

Same thing for stock market
CD Projekt’s (CDR) share price has fallen nearly 20% since the first reviews of its new video game Cyberpunk 2077 surfaced earlier this week.

The game, which came out on Thursday, is drawing widespread criticism due to a seemingly never-ending stream of awkward bugs and glitches.

Side note : I love witcher and I will love CP77. But I will wait 2 or 3 patches before playing it on my poor 970gtx.

Side note : you're in the wrong thread.
No amount of whataboutism and accusations against other posters will make SC good. You need to give it up.

Oh, and if you want to label something as “fact”, you really need to check whether it's true or not — at least check that the “facts” aren't mutually exclusive… 1:3 is not a good hit percentage.

You can ask AA for his opinion on combat mechanics. Ho wait, he has to be able to play the game first... (he was talking about CP77 here)

Most people can play the game, and it's not as buggy as reported, I had a long session last night and I haven't had a single crash or game breaking bug. the only bugs I've seen are NPCs clipping through the environment. He probably has some weird hardware conflict or something. these things can happen with any game.

I was wrong. There are reports of primary and secondary reproductive organs clipping through clothing in CP2077. It's so much worse than SC and should be taken off market. A real disgrace.and a slap in the face of devs that try over 8 years and keep failing at every milestone.

I had never seen that article before ... I cannot believe they ask you to turn off UAC and overwrite the native folder/file permissions and owners!!

I do similar actions in my Sandbox VMs (Where I detonate malware) .....

I'm sorry but your computer is not open enough to deserve Star Citizen

My memory may just be hazy, but I don't think I can remember a game community be so concerned by the release of a game in a completely different genre.
Star Citizen (and its backers) suffer from a pretty severe inferiority complex. Anything that reminds them of this triggers a deep-rooted defence mechanism of trying to puff up their own accomplishments and belittling whatever the trigger was. Since just about everything ever made is superior, this happens a lot and they exist in a near-constant state of concern with whatever the latest and greatest thing is, to the point where they've grown hyper-sensitive to just about anything that could conceivably be compared to SC, no matter how unrelated (or off-topic…).

So if every alpha is in stable state, why the hot mess with the gold version of CP77 just 2 days before it's public release (long after it's alpha and beta stage) ?
CDPR don't know how to manage alpha ?
You’re comparing apples to Stutebakers here. And still perpetuating the whataboutism you’ve been using lately to excuse the foul state of Star Citizen and money grubbing ways of the Roberts Clan. It’s not fooling anyone outside of SC fan base.

The subject is rather the supposed incompetence of CIG to carry out its alpha correctly in relation to all the actors of the market, not really about the 2 games.
So why do you keep bringing up an unrelated, irrelevant, and off-topic game that offers no illustration or information on that?
