In almost 800 hours of playing Elite I did not actually looked into the details of planetary settlements... Today I was amazed how many minor details are implemented already!
Can't wait for Odyssey!

I cannot play in hi resolution and this picture doesn't do it justice. Yesterday I found a geological site which I totally fudged the approach to. I fell down into a deep ravine in the SRV and thought, Aw b*****ks. I landed on a wide valley floor with geysers and stunning views and a bit further down the path there were Crystal Shards everywhere. What a game this is, it never stops giving.
