finally finished with all the training missions, then can't connect to frontier servers. what does that mean?

I can't connect to frontier servers. Are they down for matenance or something? When should I expect them to be back up? Only part of the game I can play for now is the training simulations, which I just finished this morning lol.

The server status is ok, according to the ED launcher. It's when I'm in game that I see the message "can't connect to frontier servers".

Updates:
I submitted a support ticket containing the network logs and a screenshot of what's going on.
Here is that screenshot for ya'all to look at:

I have internet, otherwise I wouldn't be able to make this post. How do I go about checking the site for networking issues?

Also, I noticed that when I'm in game, I see text on the bottom showing the game trying to connect to the server over and over again, and a counter of how many times it has failed if I let it continue to try to connect. As far as how good my internet connection goes, I got a ping of 11ms, 24.58 download, and 11.92 upload. That is very unusual for me because I usually have 14 ping, 200 something MB download speed and 15 uplaod speed. My internet has been at the 24mb download mark over the last couple weeks. I've just been assuming that it's christmas season and more people are at home using their internet in my neighborhood.

I had problems as well that where similar to this. I am playing on a new account from the Epic launcher. I was able to play the first night I gave the game a go after setting up my FDev account. Then the next day when I attempted to play I got a message that I needed to buy a copy of the game. I submitted a ticket that has not yet been addressed but I was able to log in the day after.

Is my launcher the epic launcher? I've heard there might be more than one kind of launcher for this game. The launcher I have is the one when I click play on elite dangerous in my steam library, and then a second window(the launcher I have) pops up and I click play a second time, after manually selecting Elite Dangerous Horizons. I don't see the word epic anywhere on this launcher, which is why I'm asking.

I also just submitted a support ticket, and attached a screen shot of the issue and what I think is my network log. I followed the support instructions to track down the log(after turning the log on in game). Only reason I'm doubting if it's the network log is because the file is named "client".

You are using steam.

Do you have multiple network adapters? If so, check the in-game network options and set the correct one.
Do you have multiple ip addresses on that network adapter? If so, you need to remove the one(s) that do not lead to the internet.

hmmm, this might be an issue. My answer to this question is a bit complicated:
My network modem/router is on the opposite end of the house where My computer is at. I have a wifi card in my PC. The internet sucks in the corner of the house where my PC is at, so I got that 3 node mesh network thing going on, which brings my internet speed in my room from 10mbps to 200+mbps download. Accept for the last couple weeks my speed has been slow AF(20 something mbps but still a ping of 14). I just ran speedtest.net again and my internet is now: 16 ping, 275mb download, and 11.97mb upload.

That epic 275 is why I have the three node mesh network setup in my house. There is no pracitcal or affordable way to run a 100 foot ethernet cord through the house, which is why I'm using wifi and a mesh node network to help the signal enough so that I get the same signal strength in my room where the PC is at vs the living room.

As far as network settings in game are concerned, I have not messed with anything.

Here are some screenshots of my network settings:

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! I fixed it!!!!
In my network settings, I switched from Radmin to wifi2 and I'm now connecting to the frontier servers! WOOT problem solved. I don't know why my game was using Radmin. Radmin is something I use to connect to private gaming servers of some of my friends who still play MechWarrior4: Mercenaries like I do lol. Not sure how that happened, but I'm using the correct adapter now and I'm connected!

Please note that if you want to use a VPN connecting to the internet, you'll need to set it as the adapter to use.

Glad that you could fix it.

EDIT: "Radmin VPN" was alphanumerically ordered before "WLAN2" hence ED picked that first.
