Will Odyssey let us walk around in places like this?

Doubtful.
Odyssey’s on-foot component seems entirely pitched toward FPS pewpew, rather than fleshing out or deepening the existing game experience. That’s why we aren’t getting ship interiors.
Basically we just seem to be getting new, bespoke environments for on-foot activities that will be grafted onto existing locales. A bit like how CQC has its own space structures rather than using the original game assets that existed at the time.
We can only hope that, just as the CQC stations were eventually incorporated into the main game, hopefully the existing interior spaces will be incorporated into Odyssey.

The thing is not walking around it's doing stuff, otherwise it's 15 minutes of "OHHHhhhh...that's luuuvvly" then you never go back inside he domed forest-world interior that took 1000+ man-hours to put together and integrate.
Would be nice to go into such a place and meet a contact, but from the sound of it it'll be later on if at all. Extra points if we get to walk round an Orbis ring.
Not from what I've seen in the Dev diaries.
It seems to be nothing like CQC so far. But they have said there will be a CQC version of Elite Feet, but we haven't seen that yet.
Have you watched the Dev diaries? Because it seems to me you have completely ignored everything that was said in them.
The same can be said of the vast majority of the galaxy that will never even be seen by player eyes before they shut the servers off.
Shush now. This isn’t the time or place for being reasonable and you know, actually paying attention to the dev diaries or anything.
My hopeful answer would be... eventually? T’would be good like, I love making low passes over surface domes when I see them and it’d be a nice touch to one day see that from the ground perspective.
Why? All that would happen is you'd sit down and arm some nuclear warheads while a sad robot cripple looks on.
