General LOOSING WHEN KILLED

Hi FDev

A) I’m truly annoy that is 2020 and still we can’t have a save system as the most games!

B) 2020... 2020... AND STILL WHEN YOU GET KILLED AND HAD “no ensure money” YOU LOOSE EVERYTHING.

This is not a hook up feature, it’s the opposite!
Today I decided to leave the game for ever because those problems. I think my decision has been and will be for several other players that get tired, frustrated and without customer support.

The same argument over and over again from years.

that is not a solution, that just describe what the situation we play.

As result (not having any alternative from FDev) players leave the community and decide to never again to play. That is how you kill a game.

would you say in the future to Frontier “if you get killed by the market trends and you don’t have the minimum investment money you lose everything?

I would ensure to not lose what I hold dear if I know I won't be able to easily replace it. Again, if you can't afford to buy it for 95% off (standard insurance), leave it at the landing pad. Fly something more affordable until you have enough money to afford a replacement.

Working as intended. Never fly without rebuy.

If you have less than the insurance value on credits, fly a cheaper ship until you can afford a rebuy just in case. Also, avoid open if you barely can or cannot afford a replacement in case of destruction and feel or are prone to griefers.
I prefer: Don't fly what you can't afford to lose.

If you fly without rebuy, you better not complain if you lose the ship. With the current "economy" you're probably better of to just scan one planet, or shoot one npc, or do one mission to get your rebuy back (maybe a few more if you already fly an anaconda.

OP: There are also players around that gladly help a CMDR back on his feet if he had a strain of bad luck, just ask for help if you need any. Complaining and blaming everything and everyone for something that is usually your own fault of taking a higher risk (taking on that elite anaconda in your eagle, accepting missions above your rank, flying shieldless cargoships, trying to get a closer look on that white dwarf ...) than your financial situation allows won't get you anywhere. Spamming the same message multiple times won't help either.

Yes, there are a few (and lately more) games without consequences. Luckily a few exist where actions do have consequences, little as they may be. For me, and many others, that is a good thing. If that is not true for you, maybe Bigmaec is right.

I'm really not sure what you're complaining about. YOU are doing things that get you killed. YOU are making the decisions to fly without a rebuy. If YOU are gambling on your survival and losing, then it is YOU who need to pay the price.
When you go into a bookies and place a bet and lose all your money, do you complain to the bookies that you thought you were going to win and they need to change their rules so you don't lose your money? I can see that being a really viable business plan!

How would saving the game even work where PvP exists?

Easy exploit: Player 1 mines stuff- saves game. Player 2 pirates player 1. Player 1 then reloads their save back to when they had a full cargo hold. Player 2 pirates player 1 again....

If player 1 doesn't regain all their cargo on reloading it's not a save game.
