Q: Within Odyssey, thinking of the open air combat zones, what's to stop me from using an Orca, equipped with mines, to carpet bomb a settlement?

Q: What's to stop me from using a DBX, equipped with Pacifier cannons, as an A-10 to blast away ground targets? and close air support?

Q: What's going to be able to stop and SLF with Shard cannons?

Q: What on the ground will be able to kill a ship like a Fully Engineered Cutter?
 
Q: What level of customization will players have over their FPS weapons in Odyssey? Will we be able to change/add sights, scopes, attachments, skins, etc.?

Q: Will the Tech Broker Weapons (Shock Cannons, Enzyme Missile Racks, all Guardian Weapons, etc.) receive a balance pass and/or Engineering Blueprints?

What prize will you give me if I watch all or none of it - to not have them at all? :unsure:
 
Q: We know you said more details on the Alpha are coming in the new year, but can you give us a ball park estimate on when you're thinking it might come with the caveat that it's simply a ball park and not a guarantee? I'd like to start shooting people on foot as soon as possible.
 
Q: Will there be player foot combat versus anti-personnel combat system ? Example PVE combat against drones / skimmers etc.
Q: Will there be finally 8 man grouping made for bigger combat missions etc ? Or players still need to do instance trick to get more than 4 people around them and deal with instance instability ?
Q: How did you solved problem with latency ? Will there be host system etc. ? As this is important for every 3rd / first person shooters.
Q: Will there be different combat classifications for players ? (medic, sniper, anti-personnel, assault trooper etc.) ?
 
Q: Will there be loot/items you can only obtain from enemies?

Q: what are the first 3 icons on the left hand side of the HUD, directly above the power meter? Are any of them related to combat?

Q: will "physical multicrew" allow SLF to be flown independently of the mothership, and allow crew members to drive SRV?

Will there be a way to self revive ourselves or other players while in combat/exploring on foot before dying? Maybe an emergency kit module we refill on stores or medbays?

How voice chat with other CMDRs on foot will work?
I imagine voice comms channels while on planets, but directional proximity open chat when on station without helmets, maybe?
 
Combat Question:

Q: Will there be any story / lore narrative with odyssey combat, specifically in addition to whats in the current mission board or personal narrative of tech brokers?

The sooner we get an answer for this, the sooner we can start to make realistic expectations in our own heads and not just be disappointed on the day.
 
Will our suits have "modules" or some equivalent that can be targeted?

Can we engineer our SRVs?

Off topic: I've never done this before so I honestly have no idea if my account has been locked or not and people are saying consoles are glitched apparently.
 
Q: Given that gyro controls are already supported on PS4 for looking around while in the cockpit, will gyro aiming be supported for weapons?
