If you read the book "Out of the Darkness" on foot thargoid combat actually does happen alot in lore. We as players just never actually see it because we can't leave our ships.

Fun fact: they're just as hard to kill on foot as in their ships.

Some lore has been retconned, so unless Frontier say otherwise, I don't know if the books are credible sources anymore.

I'm not sure how this quote could hint to new SRVs. Though I'd really love we had new SRV, or at the very least that the current one could be engineered.

Go back to https://twitch.frontierstore.net/ and claim your claimed drop there, then they'll show up in game.
