Well… yes.so to make it short, you simply discuss a ridiculous game...
But it has a bit of backstory to fully set the scene and context for the next, perhaps more important, part: none of that comes close to the actual ridiculousness of the project itself. For that, the Sunk Cost Galaxy series is a better starting point but even it only scratches the surface. Bootcha is very kind and diplomatic throughout the series and skips over some the really mind-boggling episodes that have happened over the years.
It also helps in giving some context to why there's occasionally some exasperation, let's call it, over some of arguments that are commonly brought out in its favour: exactly because there is this history, and it covers not just the last ten years but the two decades preceding them.
