Newcomer / Intro I hate this poopoo sim! ........ however ......

I hate it! This doesn't work, that doesn't work, can't work this out .......... but there's something about it that makes you kept coming back, again and again ...... ;)
Yesterday, I forgot how to ask permission to dock. 😲 Then I remembered ........ and he answered me! He's actually denied me landing rights ...... ! What the poopoo's going on! I'm almost out of fuel! AGAIN !!! ;) Oh ! Looks as though I'm not friends with this Carrier ........ 🤒 ...... now to sort this out. :unsure: ....... and it this that brings back to the sim each time. Just those elementary challenges ....... no fighter pilot stuff. Oh how I hate it .........! 😉

Blame Powerplay.
My gaming PC wont boot even to bios or send signal to monitor, for 2 days. (no joke) I hate it ! why oh why fdev. Even my hardware has given up by this point. I hate it !

It can be infuriating when you start out and the controls and protocols can seem overwhelming, but if you stick it out it becomes second nature.
Keep at it and pay off that fine!

Docking permission at an outpost requires a free landing pad...
If there isn't one, you'll have docking permission denied...
Actions:-
1) exit to menu
2) login to Solo mode
3) fly to < 7.5 km
4) request docking - repeat until you get permission
5) dock!
If you're denied at a starport, then you've been really naughty!

I was hating Space Engineers yesterday when the internet glitched and my ship face-planted into the side of a mountain... Actually, I was hating the Internet more than the game, but either way, I was miffed!

Thanks. The only thing I didn't do of the above was "repeat requesting permission". But I did find a Stn in the same galaxy, and I landed there.

I actually had a look at "Oolite", a modified version of the original Frontier Sim and still offered for free now. Thought I'd run it on my tablet for when on those long flights between Australia and Bali. But no. Far too elementary even for me. :D
