"We have logged you out of the game because your account is currently unavailable" Whut?

Hey all,

Anyone else getting this issue?

Was playing on on my new Epic account for a little while exited the station and bam, I'm forced logged out. Had a coloured snake message too, but didn't have time to see which one before it threw me to the desktop.

Usually with coloured snake errors, you're just thrown to the main menu, but the game closed entirely, then it closed the launcher and took me back to the Epic client.

Edit: lol, logged back in, ship docked at station. Game proceeds to Auto-launch me, then drag my ship around the station before I retook control. Luckily only shield damage...thought I was dead for a moment there!

It's just annoying how it boots me all the way out of the game and closes the launcher, rather than just to the main menu sigh

I decided to play exclusively in Open with this new account, but I may have to try Solo to avoid these issues, assumining it's not an issue in Solo too of course. That's a shame.

Had it once yesterday whilst in open. Switched to solo and okay so far. Was v busy so assuming due to large numbers of cmdrs ?

I just had a couple of good sessions on my epic alt. All performing good untill I lost server connection. Looks like its close to working right though, so issues are nearly resolved I think.

I just got straight out of that newb zone as fast as possible. Upgraded to a hauler, hauled some bits, about to upgrade to a viper 4 for the next xxx amount of time (what other ship do I really need on the alt...None).

It's happened to me a few times, in both open and solo. Every time it has been after I have left a station and charged FSD, although that may just be coincidence.

Yes, something needs to be done, these constant hangs - waiting ages to enter / exit FSD - and crashes are getting a bit irksome now.

It's getting worse.... I'm entering totally empty instances...this is supposed to be a Resource Extraction Site (High) - it's empty, not even any asteroids lol.

Their servers are made to have tons of people in one session. But the sessions are system based. If it helps, try solo sessions or private group sessions. I still get the error message but its only around the Ngalinn or Mainani systems after I turn in missions.

My main's FC has been jumping ok since 10:00 this morning...
This account's one has been behaving well too...
Jumped into Alt2 in the starter zone without any issue either.

I think it is just the luck of the draw, or just the wrong 'minute' that gives the errors, thankfully! I'd be amused if a FC with about a dozen passengers on got stuck 8KLY from the bubble :devilish:

I got it every other station departure at the end of November. Now I get it once per evening. Playing in VR in open. When I was around Deciat in solo for the last day or two, it was fine. Tonight it was just before 22:50 game time. I hadn't started charging the jump yet. AspX with an advanced docking computer, also HCS Kate on VoiceAttack.

I've only been playing for about a week, but this has happened to me every day, multiple times a day. My friend who has been playing for years and lives in the same city has never experienced it. The biggest difference is that he owns the game on Steam rather than Epic. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who gets this error.

Every time I use the Epic version from first launch I get kicked out after doing stuff, docking, then leaving a station or even doing stuff then activating hyperdrive/SC. Second restart appears to have no problems and can play for ages afterwards. :)

Not having any problems here, have you considered it may be an Epic issue with the Epic sign in? If your it's your Epic account that is currently unavailable would that cause issues with logging into ED, I suspect it may.

I've not seen it a lot since they attempted to patch it a few weeks ago but I did see it.

The fact fdev needed to deploy that patch suggests it's not 100% an epic issue. More likely it's something both parties need to work to fix.

But that fix didn't work if it's still happening.

I played the game for a few hours then got disconnected.
It has been ~2 days since and i still can not log back in.
I get this error:

I have sent this to customer support, so far, nothing :/
Tried verifying game files, logging out completely (when i try to login I get the "Please redeem the game" error. My epic and frontier accounts are linked. Don't know what else to do.
I'm on Epic btw, if anyone knows a fix, please let me know.
Game seems really interesting to me.
