Of course,all across my life I've seen horrible things happen,we've been through earthquakes that took thousands of lives over here,floods, terrorist bombings and so on...I wanna see the hafl full glass not the half empty.

Still, a km wide asteroid might hit earth and wipe out the planet. Of course it wont be a nice quick kill... No. It will be a slow death from all the matter ejected into the atmosphere ...

In 2020, I lost my mother and a very close friend to cancer and a work colleague in the US to Covid, so I have hated 2020. How do I feel about 2021? The UK will possibly suffer under Brexit but will probably adapt in time, Odyssey will satisfy some and annoy others but it's only a game so will not be the end of the world (that will be Covid 20).

Edit: so I am completely ambivalent to 2021 nowadays.

Sounds like you have had a tough time with personal losses this year. I hope 2021 will be better for you.

Well I do have a new Grogu calendar, but otherwise dates are arbitrary. Now seasons, on the other hand - I'm always looking forward to summer when it isn't summer!
