Ships Engineers - Multicannon G5

Ok...im not exactly a newcomer but have been away a LONG, LONG time (Few weeks after Horizon first came out)...and MAN is it good to be back!!!

I have been going around re-engineering all my ships parts quite happily...until...

...I got to rework my G5 Multicannons. Now I had these. I had the rep with Nemo. But when I got there he was only offering G3. Now I never ranked up McQuinn so what gives? Was Nemo lowered or something. Sorry im just confused and wanted to check I was not going mad.

Thanks!

That's why im so curious.

1 x 4A G5 Legacy
2 x 2F G5 Legacy

See attached.
I can't see in the pics, do the modified values of the legacy actually fall in line with G5 level changes?

It has been some time now since I've converted legacy, so I might be way off here, but it seems like legacy might show as G5 in some screens now regardless of if they really are.

If I'm wrong on that (very well might be), then I have no clue how you got a G5 MC without getting McQuinn past 3.

Well on Inara they come up as about G4 (even more confusion). Guess I better go level Todd up then :D

Thanks guys!

Back in the day under old Engineering system, it cost you rep with the engineers to apply a special effect. You probably had Tod at G5, made the mods and then burned some rep applying the autoloader effect. And then quit playing before getting the rep back up.
Ding! Ding! Ding!

This is it, I had completely forgotten about that.

Ahhhh that must have been it. Thank you for clarifying that. I was at a loss why i could not update them.
