Class 5 Cargo Racks? Questions...

My current T6 has 100 t space, which is 2 32 size racks and 2 16 size and 1 size 4, not sure but if I stripped out shield and some other stuff I think I could get it up to around 160.
The 32 and 16 racks are the biggest I have found that fit the T6.

There 64 ton racks as well, my Asp has 124 tonnes capacity, with roughly 19 LY jump range.

It's a straight power law conversion, 2^class = tonnage
Class 1 Racks = 2T
Class 2 Racks = 4T
Class 3, 8T
Class 4, 16T (this is the largest rack the Cobra will take)
Class 5, 32T (Type 6 & Asp)
Class 6, 64T (Type 9 & Anaconda)
Doesn't seem to be any quality changes on the racks, they all seem to be grade H, I haven't seen any higher grade racks, but it would be nice to see higher grade racks letting you store more cargo in the same space.
Class 5 racks I've definitely seen at Ejeta Station in 14 Herculis.

Not sure if you can get a type 6 up to 160t because all the class 4 compartments are alredy taken to get it up to 100t

Yes, I see what you mean Comrade Napoleon. If only we could find a place that sells 64t cargo racks.
The Anaconda has a Class 7 internal compartment. Does that mean there are 128t cargo racks somewhere?

I fitted out my T6 with 104T with shields. not sure how you'd manage 160!
agreed , I had 108t , think the max is 112t
I strongly assume that these 64t racks are class 6 and not class 5.
From what i noticed, most high tech starports have all classes of racks. just the higher the class, the less common you will find it. up to class 4 you will probably find the racks always. class 5 are still pretty common, just class 6 you perhaps have to wait until the outfittings reload few times, every few (15 or 20 ?) minutes. no need to visit many different systems, just wait at one high tech starport.
i got my class 6 racks at Moseley Park in CE Bootis.

You are correct. It is fairly easy to work out if you can remember that Size 1 racks are 2 tons. Each increase in size then doubles the tonnage.
1=2
2=4
3=8
4=16
5=32
6=64
7=128

As you can see, a Hauler has 1x1, 1x2 and 2x3 = 1x2 + 1x4 + 2x8 = 22tons max capacity.
Wrong. Using all compartements for cargo racks, so without shields, is 112.
2 Class 5: 32 + 32 = 64
2 Class 4: 16 + 16 = 32
1 Class 3: 8
2 Class 2: 4 + 4 = 8
64 + 32 + 8 + 8 = 112
